1⃣ Shuttle
The staff will contact you in advance to see if you need a pick-up from the airport. I was already in Banna, and they said they could pick me up if I sent them my location, but I was staying at a guesthouse near the Dai Ethnic Garden and they said they couldn't pick me up from there. If you're staying in Gaozhuang city, they can pick you up. Later, I took a taxi by myself. However, they did arrange a shuttle to the airport when I left. So, sisters, if you're in the city, you can also contact the inn to pick you up and save on taxi fare.
2⃣ Service
1. Upon arrival at the inn, the staff were very enthusiastic, helping to carry luggage because there are grassy steps and stairs leading into the rooms, so you must carry them. The staff carried it directly into the room.
2. Then they provided group chat service, where you can send messages about any problems and the corresponding staff would respond.
3⃣ Afternoon Tea
The room comes with complimentary afternoon tea, and the staff will ask when you need it. The available time is from 1 pm to about 5 pm. Since I arrived at the inn at 5 pm and had to check out at 12 pm the next day, I could only have afternoon tea that day. The afternoon tea was just simple fruits and small square cakes, and the drinks were surprisingly cola and Fanta (which felt a bit perfunctory). The booking mentioned floating afternoon tea, but the inn said the tea chef was not in and couldn't make it (which felt like a random excuse). They said you could sit in a place with nice scenery to eat. Actually, the pool water is very cold now, so you can't eat floating afternoon tea in the water, but I originally wanted to take a photo, and it turns out there wasn't even that.
4⃣ Dinner
Since there are basically no facilities near the inn, you can order meals inside the inn. The group chat will ask if you need dinner and will send you the menu for the day. I ordered both dinner and lunch. The price was acceptable, and the portion and taste were good (some were very oily, the stir-fried small meat was all fat).
5⃣ Scenery
The scenery is as beautiful as shown in the pictures, no filter needed. However, the inn is all steps, with various slopes, and various terraces and pools designed for taking photos, so it's actually not suitable for children and the elderly, otherwise, you must always keep an eye on them and never relax your vigilance.
6⃣ Instagrammable Photos
There are many photos online of people sitting or lying on the edge of a terrace with woven ropes, with blankets in the pictures, but there were none when I actually got there. The staff said if you want to go up for photos, you need to contact the housekeeper to accompany you, and you can't go up on your own. It's indeed very dangerous, and if you're afraid of heights, just skip it. I sat on a relatively safe woven net myself, which had a steel wire base with a woven net laid on top. The steel wire net is very uncomfortable to sit on, so it seems you need to lay a blanket to take those Instagrammable photos.
