Outdoor recreation
You can return from the hustle and bustle of the city to nature in Izumi Nature Park, among lush greenery and hiking trails.
How to get there
Izumi Park bus stop is a 10—minute walk away.
The bus takes 45 minutes from the 10th bus terminal at the eastern exit of Chiba Station.
Walking in the park
Izumi Nature Park covers 43 hectares. It is a quiet place where you can walk and enjoy the beauty of nature.
The park is magnificent all year round, but it is especially beautiful in spring, when sakura blooms, and in autumn, when the leaves turn red, orange and gold.
Spring flowering
Izumi Park is included in the list of the 100 best places in Japan where you can admire the cherry blossoms. There are about 1,500 cherry trees growing here, and many other flowers bloom in spring.
Izumi Bridge
There is a duck pond with carp in the center of the park. A 65-meter suspension bridge stretches high above it, offering stunning views.
Let's walk
There are many hiking trails in Izumi Nature Park. There are benches along them where you can sit and rest.
