The old stone mill and the scattered rocks seemed to tell the story of time. Moss climbed quietly up the stone lanterns, and the ancient simplicity was revealed in the dim light. Every inch of green was a Zen poem written by nature. Under the Chinese-style eaves, a wooden bench awaited. Light and shadow filtered through the lattice, casting a golden glow on the ground. Here, I brewed a pot of tea and watched the leaves unfurl in the boiling water, as if my worries were drifting away with the smoke. The shadows of the bamboo swayed and whispered with the wind, as if reciting ancient scriptures. The courtyard was quiet, with only the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves, creating a Zen melody. There was no need to search far and wide. In the courtyard of Shanwushe·izan, I found a corner of the world and a moment in time, and I was able to experience the true meaning of life in the Zen style of the Chinese wind, and enjoy the simple pleasures of the world.

The wooden courtyard, blending Eastern aesthetics with a classical style, is always enchanting. 💐The courtyard is not large, and there aren't many guest rooms, but they are exquisitely arranged, with a tranquil environment. The wooden architecture makes one feel relaxed. The greening and lighting inside the courtyard are very good, and guests staying here must also appreciate the quiet surroundings. It is evident that the owner manages it with great care. Taking photos is really beautiful, and you can get good shots with just a casual snap. The room interior is decorated with a natural wood style, warm and simple, and the bedding is really comfortable, probably using muji, which is soft and skin-friendly. As I recall, this was the best night's sleep I had in Yunnan.
