The restaurant is surrounded by lush green plants, like a cozy villa in the forest. As soon as you enter the store, you will feel the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city. IVY PLACE often requires a long queue on holidays, but this time I went there shortly after it opened on a weekday morning. Although I didn't have a reservation, I was successfully taken to a seat. Breakfast offers a discounted package, and if you order breakfast, you can order a designated drink for an additional fee. I ordered a classic buttermilk pancake, and you can choose maple syrup or honey. There is a round piece of cream on top of the pancake, which is very recognizable. I chose a hot latte as my drink, and it came with a small card introducing the coffee beans used. The latte was very smooth and delicious. The classic buttermilk pancake and latte cost 2,080 yen. The freshly-fried pancakes tasted very soft, but I personally didn’t find them amazing. However, the dining space and environment gave it a lot of points. Why is Daikanyama so "just the right amount of stylish"? We stopped by "IVY PLACE" on our walk. The terrace seating surrounded by greenery is so pleasant that we felt so relaxed that we almost forgot we were in Tokyo. On this day, we enjoyed the pasta of the day, flat noodle pasta with Kinka pork ragu, freshly baked melted cheese pizza, a fresh salad with a fresh tomato miso dressing, beef stroganoff-style soup that was so delicious we even ordered bread, and crispy fried calamari with a delicious dipping sauce, all of which were thoroughly enjoyed and left us both satisfied in both mind and stomach. Of course the quality of the food was great, but the atmosphere was the best part of the feast. Just getting up a little early, taking a walk around Daikanyama, and having a leisurely lunch here will make you feel like you've had a proper day off, so we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing lunch in Tokyo!

#November Good Places 2024 Ivy Place, located in Daikanyama, Tokyo is definitely one of the celebrity breakfast shops. They focus on daily breakfast, like muffins, scrambled eggs, or avocado toast, etc. Although relatively simple, the taste food quality is guaranteed. And most of the waiters are foreigners, so communication is not difficult. You can sit for a long time here, very comfortable.

The food was quite good, price was ok, service was also good. Apparently it’s a very busy place that I was glad that my friend managed to secure us a table yet we had to leave right after sitting there for 90mins. The flat bread pizza was great, as was the thai crispy salad with soft shell crab. The humus is nice but regular humus eaters we've definitely had better humus.The breakfast plate was good and they validate parking up to two hours. IVY PLACE A famous cafe in Daikanyama They serve breakfast, so I got up early and went there for breakfast! It gets crowded at lunchtime, so I recommend making a reservation before going! #japantrip Aside from the guest who thought it was socially acceptable to clear out his throat and sinuses nonstop during breakfast, we had an absolutely enjoyable breakfast here today. Restaurants can’t dictate the manners of other customers and we were very happy with our Big Breakfast. The bacon was delicious, as were the pancakes. Highly recommended. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very pleasant and the outdoor seating - particularly during this time of year - is great. Our service was also quite good. All in all, this is a great restaurant. We’ll be back for lunch or dinner!

Daikanyama is a great neighborhood for walking or shopping, and there are more places to visit than you might think. Located right next to Tsutaya Bookstore in Daikanyama, this shop is perfect for its atmosphere. This shop is famous for its pancakes during lunch and cafe time, but you can also enjoy the cafe in the evening, so you can easily drop in after dinner. This time I ordered a pistachio cake. I had finished dinner early and was hungry, so I ate it all in one go. It has a nice atmosphere, but it is a little dark at night.
