Come and meet Shin-chan~ A leisurely half-day tour of Kasukabe
🌟 Highlights:
Kasukabe City (かすかべし) is a city in the southern part of the Kanto region of Japan, in the eastern part of Saitama Prefecture.
The Nohara family, including Shinnosuke from the manga 'Crayon Shin-chan', live in this city. In 2004, they were awarded the title of 'Honorary Residents' of Kasukabe City and became the city's image ambassadors.
🚉 Transportation guide:
It takes only a few dozen minutes to reach Kasukabe City from Tokyo by subway. Generally, you can finish touring the Shin-chan elements by going around from the subway exit and then come back from the east exit.
🗓 Itinerary route: Kasukabe Station West Exit → Kasukabe City Hall → LaLa garden → Kasukabe Post Office → Sato Yōkadō → Kasukabe Station East Exit
✅ The arrival bell at Kasukabe Station is the 'I'm a Superstar' from 'Crayon Shin-chan', which is super fun haha.
⭐ From the station exit, there are many Shin-chan elements, and the west exit is also full of Shin-chan. On the way to the city hall, there is the Kasukabe post office where you can get a stamp. Inside the city hall, there is a special Shin-chan exhibition area where you can get a Shin-chan version of the Kasukabe walking map, including a Chinese version.
⭐ LaLa garden Kasukabe is at most a ten-minute walk from the city hall. It's a shopping mall with various food options, and on the third floor, there is a large shop selling Shin-chan merchandise. Inside, you can find items related to the Nohara family, such as Misae's palm print, Hiroshi's stinky feet, Shin-chan's butt, and many other things. It's also the place I think Shin-chan fans should definitely visit.
📝 Tips:
From Tokyo to Kasukabe, the subway fare is only around six to seven hundred yen if you stay somewhere close.
If you like Shin-chan, you might want to buy some souvenirs. However, if you're just there to check it off your list, it's not really necessary.
Many guides say that Kasukabe is small and lacks Shin-chan elements, and it's not worth the visit. But I think if you really like Shin-chan and have a sense of nostalgia, a half-day trip is quite nice.

🌸 Kasukabe|Crayon Shin-chan Pilgrimage (1)🚆✨
#globaltravel #Saitama #Kasugabe
Today we introduce my long-awaited city - Kasugabe!
Do you think of "Crayon Shin-chan" first?
However!
In fact, Kasugabe itself is just an ordinary residential area, and Crayon Shin-chan related attractions are relatively scattered ><
As long as the expectations are appropriately lowered, as a relaxing and interesting little trip, you can discover many little surprises ~
🚉 Kasugabe Station | There are different Shin-chan decorations ~
Once you get out of Kasugabe Station, you will find that the station is smaller than expected, surrounded by residential areas, with a serene atmosphere, not at all like the lively scenes in the animation, but if you pay attention to the details, you will still see small new elements such as:
✔ There is a Crayon Shin-chan themed map at the station entrance 🗺️ ✔ There is a billboard of Shin-chan on the building opposite 🏢 ✔ The west exit station sign also has an illustration of Shin-chan 🚏
Although the scale is not large, but as a little new fan, as soon as you get off the bus already start looking forward to the next stop!
📍 Kasukabe Station
🚇 From Tokyo "Asakusa Station", take the "Tobu Isezaki Line" without interchange, directly to "Kasugabe" Station
🛍️ Ito Yangwado aka Satodo | Animation scene reproduction
The first stop was Ito Yokado near the station. This is the department store where Misato often goes shopping in the anime!
🚪 The banner of Siu Sin's family hangs at the door🛒 The supermarket on the ground floor
It's not much different from the usual supermarket, but when you see green peppers🫑 and Koshin's favorite chocolate chip cookies
Immediately mind the screen of Siu-san secretly putting the green pepper back 🤣
🌟アニメだ! Saitama Katsushita | Limited-time Koshin Exhibition
Go to the 3rd floor of Ito Yokado and find a small exhibition of Crayon Shin-chan (the content of the exhibition will vary depending on the time)!
📸 Siu Sin Statue: You can take a photo with Siu Sin! 📷 🎥 Big Movie Picture Wall: Looking back at the classic scenes of the past 🎬🛍️ Surrounding area: Limited peripherals can be bought here
Although this exhibition is not large, it is already super cute and quite amazing✨

Ito-Yokado Kasukabe Store
Take a look while passing by!
Japan's major retailer 7&I Holdings announced on the 26th that the 'Ito-Yokado Kasukabe Store' located in Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture, will close on November 24th. The 'Ito-Yokado Kasukabe Store' is known for being the model for the store in the famous manga 'Crayon Shin-chan'. Futabasha, the publisher of 'Crayon Shin-chan', expressed their deep regret and sadness over the closure.
The 'Ito-Yokado Kasukabe Store' is said to be the model for the supermarket 'Sato Kyudodo' in the popular manga 'Crayon Shin-chan', which started serialization in 1990 and was later adapted into a TV anime. 'Sato Kyudodo' is a supermarket frequently visited by the main character Shinnosuke Nohara and the Nohara family in 'Crayon Shin-chan'.

Part 1 of the tour of the village of Dotip, where the crazy and bewildered Crayon Shin-chan lives
Hello everyone☺️
Did you know that there is a real town where Shinchan lives⁉️
It's called Kasukabe in Japan
I looked for traces of Shinchan in Kasukabe🕵♂️
First, the Action Mart where Shinchan's mom goes shopping every day‼️
Ito Yokado Kasukabe🏪
What do you look at when you go to the mart?⁉️
This is a regular mart, but it also has Shinchan-related exhibitions and sells goods
When I went, they were having an exhibition related to the 30th Shinchan movie🫶
I looked at the Shinchan family statues, paintings, posters, etc☺️
While looking around, I really felt like Shinchan would be walking around the mart holding Chocobeeㅎㅎ
Kasukabe is a small town about an hour and a half away from Tokyo, so you can visit it in a day trip☺️
