A complete guide to Isola Bella can easily achieve a day trip around Milan 1 Depart from Milano Centrale Station to Stresa, which takes about 1h, with a round-trip ticket costing 17 euros. 2 Get off at Stresa, use Google Maps to locate Carciano, and you'll find the boat ticket office, with two options (a round-trip to Bella Island for 10 euros per person, or a three-island pass for 15 euros per person, which includes Madre, Pescatori, and Bella). Personally, I think the three-island pass is more cost-effective 3 Three-Island Pass Lido: Once you have the pass, look for boats with the Lido sign. They will take you to the first stop, Madre, then to Pescatori, and finally to Bella Island. (Note: For the return trip, you must also find a boat with the Lido sign) 4 Personal recommendation: Madre and Bella Islands are truly worth visiting. Madre Island has both a botanical garden and animals, great for photography. Pescatori Island is mostly for dining and shopping (recommend trying the grapefruit and lemon candies, 6 euros per pack). No need to say much about Bella Island!! In front of the beach is the lovely little island of Isola Bella. The cable car station is just outside the city gate on Via Pirandello, and it only takes 3 minutes to get to the beach. Those who like hiking can also walk down the slope and stairs from the city center and reach the beach in about half an hour. Next to it is the famous small island Isola bella (Bella Island), which is a very unique view, especially when looking down from a high angle. The sea water is clear and the bottom is visible, the emerald green is dazzling. If you want to walk to Isola Bella, the only way is to take off your shoes and wade through the water. I chose to hike to Isola Bella and then take the cable car back to the city center.
