On Friday evening, I stopped by to eat salad at Tawi Farm Khao Yai and checked in. Mr. Mek FO said that about 95% of the guests had a group staying with them and recommended to eat Free Flow because the opening time was moved to 17:00-18:00 instead. Then go to the room. The first night, I stayed at the Heritage rail car suite, which is a real train car that was made into a bedroom. It is divided into 2 connected suites. The room is not very spacious. If anyone wants to sleep in the train atmosphere, come and try it. It feels like being in a real train car. If anyone is tall or doesn't like tight spaces, they may not be comfortable. When you get out of the train car, there is a large sofa and a bathtub at the back in case you want to sit and relax or soak in the water and enjoy the view. The second night, I stayed at the Premium terrace with a lake view. This room is quite large, especially the area on the side. From the bedroom, there is a day bed and a wide area to sit and relax. There is a balcony to sit and watch the view of the lake at an angle. The room looks wide and the ceiling is higher than the train car. For food, we went to eat dinner at Somying restaurant. On Friday, there was a group that booked the room so we could sit outside and eat. It was not hot and comfortable. For breakfast, the best is the rice porridge with shrimp and minced pork. It was delicious. The shrimp was soft and bouncy, big pieces. The bread with custard was also delicious as usual. There was stir-fried rice vermicelli which was also fun to eat. On Sunday morning, there was train fried rice. When shrimp was added, it became stir-fried shrimp with rice and stir-fried rice with shrimp. As for the omelet, let the chef make it. The chef made the omelet really crispy. As for the blood mary soup, I wanted to eat it with fried oysters. I thought it was chili sauce, but it was actually tobacco and tomato. The first time that pets are allowed to stay in the Heritage One Bed Room Suit of Intercontinental Khao Yai Resort. Previously, even though the hotel is pet-friendly, pets could only stay in the Classic room. Until September 1st, the hotel decided to add a room type for pets to stay in. The additional room is the hotel's starting suite room that we will stay in on the train car! The actual train car was brought and decorated to be our room. I must say that some of us got to stay in it first because we arrived on September 2nd to try to be the first home. However, this room may not be suitable for people who are claustrophobic because the train car is a bit narrow. And that's not all! They stuffed the furniture in, so it's a bit cramped. 😅 However, it still provides complete comfort for guests. The bed is still comfortable in the Intercontinental style. This has to be given to them. As for the outdoor area, at night there might be a lot of insects because it's a forest. However, you can call the housekeeper to light mosquito repellent and call for additional fans at any time. But if you encounter rain like me, I'll just move back inside to sit and play because the rain will definitely get you wet 😅 Come on, I recommend it.
