Budget travelers will be thrilled to stay at this hotel in Hefei!
Location: City center
The room offers a view of the city center. After 7:00, the "I love Hefei" sign lights up every hour. No need to go downstairs to check in. The surrounding area is full of insurance companies, tobacco companies, and various policy banks, so there are many special cars queuing at the door.
Accommodation: The room is generally over 60 square meters, with complete facilities, good conditioner, a soft and large bed, a sense of wrapping, and pillows with different softness and hardness, which is very good, considering the pressure of modern people.
When checking in, you can tell the front desk that you want an even-numbered room, which faces Swan Lake. The front desk staff are very nice.
Service: Takeout cannot be placed at the front desk, and some delivery drivers don't know this. You can put it in the takeout cabinet, but this hotel doesn't have a robot.
Trip.com bookings can have butler service, and the front desk is very enthusiastic. If the takeout cannot be delivered, the butler will deliver it manually. They also provided bath bags and sanitary napkins (this is charged, but the butler Yang Xu paid for me, thank you, girls help girls). In addition, they also provided a happy hour.
Executive lounge service: Not very good. The front desk said that the order ends at 8:30, but the executive lounge stops serving at 8:00. The InterContinental Hotel states that the executive lounge ends at 9:00. We said we didn't want to eat, just have a glass of red wine, but they refused. Can you please unify the time?
Breakfast: Very good! More variety than the Four Seasons Hotel. A combination of Chinese and Western.
Chinese: Noodles, spicy soup, porridge, pancakes, stir-fried dishes, fried noodles, fried rice, and all kinds of Anhui snacks, which taste good, so we didn't go out to eat snacks.
Western: Similar to the Four Seasons in Sydney, but with fewer cakes than the Four Seasons. The taste is very good, with oatmeal, waffles, bread, cheese, bacon, Spanish omelets, English fried mushrooms, etc. It seems to have been improved to suit the Chinese taste, fresh and juicy.
Overall, the InterContinental Hotel is good, with welcome fruit and elephant soda water. Everyone in the lobby greets you seriously. At 3:00 pm, someone will play the piano in the lobby, soothing music. If I come again, I will still choose the InterContinental.
