My friend had tea including refills of hot water while I chose the special drink: a strawberry latte which was topped with cream. The service was great and the lobby there is immense. If you want a lovely afternoon with friends in a cosy environment, I defo recommend it 😉 We booked online beforehand. I had always wanted to stay at Hangzhou's famous golden sphere hotel, and finally I did! The interior has a surprisingly dated atmosphere, which makes it hard to believe it opened in 2010. The interior has a nostalgic, gorgeous feel to it. The room and bathroom are spacious! From the river view room with a large window, the sunset and sunrise looked beautiful. The tea served in the room is "Longjing tea", a specialty of Hangzhou, which is very Hangzhou-like. It was unfortunate that we had to wait more than an hour for check-in in the afternoon, probably because there were a lot of guests during the holidays, but other than that I was satisfied.
