Fuzhou Shimao InterContinental Hotel Excellent location 📍 I recently stayed one night at the Fuzhou InterContinental Hotel, and the location is truly amazing! It's right in the city center with super convenient transportation, close to the subway station, and it's easy to take a taxi to the airport or other places in the city. There are also many attractions nearby, like Three Lanes and Seven Alleys which is about a twenty-minute walk away. Along the way, you can see many distinctive old buildings that create a special atmosphere. Thoughtful check-in experience ❤️ As soon as I entered the lobby, I felt it was very elegant with a modern yet cozy decoration style. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, the check-in process was quick, and they even gave me a small gift—a bottle of hotel-made aromatherapy oil that smelled wonderful. The room was spacious with an incredibly comfortable bed that made for a great night's sleep. The large windows offered an amazing view of the bustling streets below, and at night, you could see beautiful city lights, which was fantastic. Abundant recreational facilities 🎉 The hotel's recreational facilities are also very complete. The gym has new equipment with a wide variety, including treadmills, spinning bikes, and various strength training machines. I went there every morning to exercise, which made me feel energetic all day. There's also a swimming pool with clean water and a comfortable poolside environment. I even sunbathed on a lounger by the pool, which was particularly relaxing. The hotel also has a yoga room and massage services. I tried the massage service, which was very professional, and afterward I felt much more relaxed. Fuzhou: Three Days and Two Nights Photos 1–5: Fuzhou Taihe Kempinski Hotel. I stayed here for one night as a layover, and it exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, and they were very accommodating. I was surprised to find that the toiletries were from Natura Bissé, which is high-end for a hotel in this price range. The gym was very large and well-equipped. The breakfast was varied and included local Fuzhou dishes. Although the hotel is on the Second Ring Road, it is connected to Taihe Plaza, and there is a night market downstairs. Photos 6–11: Fuzhou World Trade Center InterContinental. The InterContinental is up to standard, is located in the city center, and is convenient for getting around. There was a small hiccup in the evening, but it was dealt with perfectly. My favorite feature was the bathroom's linear layout with floor-to-ceiling windows, making it bright and spacious. Both the bathroom and bedroom offered expansive views of Taijiang District. On clear days, looking at Fuzhou's skyline through the floor-to-ceiling windows gave me the feeling of being in the clouds.

I stayed in an Executive King Room. I chose this hotel because of the floor-to-ceiling bathroom. A suite with the same decoration style in Shanghai would probably cost CNY 2,000-3,000. Apart from the bathroom, the interior decoration was not very special. There were complimentary fruits and snacks in the room, which were the ones on the bathtub. You can call to replenish them once after you finish them. The bathroom was 5-star, and the interior decoration was 3-star. I stayed in the hotel all day. There was complimentary afternoon tea after 2:00pm, and complimentary buffet after 7:00pm. Check-out time was 4:00pm, and check-in time was 2:00pm. So, you can have three meals. There was a rich breakfast the next morning. The gym was also good. You can go and experience it.

This hotel is located in the middle of the city and close to all the tourist attractions.The hotel is also close to Chating subway station and close to Sanfang Seven Alleys. Just a 10 min ride . There are several restaurants in the hotel it self , across the road there are supermarket and small eatery .. this hotel suit all type of travel from biz to leisure . 10/10

The reception was great and the service was very good despite the rainy weather. It is not a new hotel but it is well maintained and the breakfast was very good.
