These houses have a unique architecture whereby the ground level is for their fishing boats, while the upper level is the living space. The village is quite small and you can walk through it in minutes. There is a sightseeing boat ride which takes about 20 min around the bay. Before boarding, you can purchase prawn snacks (100 yen per pack) to feed the seagulls. Once the boat starts, it will be swarmed by gulls.
