From Hebei all the way north to the northeast, passing through Qinhuangdao, come to experience this newly opened Indigo Hotel. After the summer vacation, the room rates here have also fallen to an acceptable range.

The hotel is located in the newly opened Rushi Sea Resort, which is a supporting hotel for the scenic area. Judging from the opening price, it is on the high-end route. However, the entire park is still in the development stage, and a large part of it is still under construction, such as the Crowne Plaza Hotel under construction. Compared to Indigo, it is closer to the sea and has better views, and it should be able to see the sea view.

Indigo is about one kilometer away from the seaside, so there is no sea view to speak of. Some rooms can see the interior view of the artificial lake.

All suites are in the townhouse area, which is also the farthest guest room from the lobby. Each villa should have 5-6 suites, distributed on three floors. The first floor has a courtyard but no privacy, only emptiness, and you have to carry luggage up and down the stairs. The third floor also requires carrying luggage, only the second floor is the easiest, you can directly enter and the view is also good.

This time I stayed in a suite on the second floor of Building 67, and I could see a little bit of the lake view. However, the living room has no windows, but the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom can make up for this.

The suite has a three-entry structure. Upon entering, there is a screen wall and a luggage rack, and you cannot see the living room at a glance. On the left is the guest bathroom, which is quite a good design. Turning right is a full-length mirror, then turning left to the living room. The living room is not large, with a compact layout, only a five-person sofa set, plus a small round table that also serves as a desk. The outer door leads to a balcony or rather a patio, where you can dry clothes.

The minibar uses customized mineral water produced in Baoding, with a capsule coffee machine and 4 official capsules, tea bags TG, the mini fridge is free and well-stocked with beer, drinks, chocolate, chips, peanuts, everything you need for a private hot spring bath.

Since Indigo does not have an executive lounge, members with executive benefits can receive a 90 yuan meal voucher. Although it can only buy a bowl of noodles in the restaurant, it can be exchanged for 7 cans of cola, plus a welcome drink voucher. Staying here basically achieves beverage freedom. There is no takeaway here, which is quite important.

The large floor-to-ceiling windows in the bedroom are great, with greenery outside. I think it looks more like a golf course terrain configuration, with a bench at the end of the bed and a sofa by the window. The mattress is very soft.

Further in is the main bathroom, with a double sink and a large vanity, an independent dressing table, and a Toto washlet toilet. The guest bathroom only uses an intelligent toilet seat, but it doesn't look as new as just opened, which is very strange.

The hot spring pool and shower are placed in the same space, with a slight glass partition in the middle. The hot spring pool fills up quite quickly, but the cleanliness is average. It's best to clean it yourself before use. Although the hotel claims it is a real hot spring, I feel it is just tap water, colorless and odorless, with no feeling after soaking. The width of the hot spring pool could be larger. The shower system uses Hansgrohe button type, which is pretty good.

The most commendable thing is that the hotel, which has been open for only two or three months, has no peculiar smell in the guest rooms. There is no turndown service, but fortunately, the room is well-stocked and does not need any replenishment. Speaking of the private hot spring suite alone, the stay experience is still very good.

Indigo Beidaihe Hotel - Breakfast at the Lakeside Restaurant
The only restaurant in the newly opened Indigo Beidaihe Hotel is located by the lake. The environment is quite good, with outdoor areas and seats in the lake. The hotel's promotional video was also filmed here.

Actually, this is also a full-day restaurant with a lobby and private rooms. It currently offers buffet breakfast and a la carte lunch and dinner. The dishes are not cheap, basically all three digits or more. Beidaihe, it can be understood.

Although the diamond card check-in will give a 90 yuan meal voucher, but it is actually not enough to order a dish, you can only order a staple food, so I simply changed a few bottles of cola and did not have dinner here.

Breakfast is now not a semi-self-service form with a single order, but a full self-service, but in fact the content has not changed much. Overall, the service is not bad, but the production needs to be strengthened. It is definitely not matched with the off-season room price of about 1500.

1⃣, the noodle stall provides beef noodles and wontons, the beef in the beef noodles is quite mushy, the soup is also good, but the noodles can be said to be a mess, the wontons are so-so, there are a lot of stewed meat shredded inside, it is a bit inexplicable, maybe it is advocating the use of real meat soup? However, the soup tastes quite weak.

The interior layout is long, the chandelier in the living room is too low, like me, a big man of 1.9 meters, it is easy to bump into; the TV channel can receive RT, Cuban Vision, etc., but Phoenix Chinese and Information, BBC, CNN, etc. , Can't receive; the courtyard room has a larger exclusive hot spring pool, and the lake view room is equipped with a bathtub. Just recently opened, Indigo Hotel has a total of ninety rooms, but there are also apartments in the resort, plus the Crowne Plaza Hotel under construction.
This time, I stayed in a lake view room. After checking in, a small shuttle bus took me to the door of the room. The entire room is designed in a modern Chinese style, with an independent balcony where you can enjoy the lake view and drink tea.
Rushi Sea Resort has a large public area, so you can stroll around the park or take the small shuttle bus back to the lobby at any time. The entertainment projects range from kayaking to a large outdoor children's playground, an indoor water park, and the seaside. There is a 50-million-yuan internet-famous red bridge where you can watch the sunrise and swing, which is very enjoyable.
The entire park is now only open to guests, so it is very comfortable and quiet. The Rushi Restaurant at Indigo Hotel offers a buffet breakfast, and dining by the lake is super pleasant.
