Welcome fruit is provided in the room. I was surprised when I entered the room. The room is small but exquisite, with a Dyson hair dryer and Marshall speaker. The mini bar is free. I have to praise the mini bar. The hotel has a co-branded fruit-flavored beer, which is really delicious! The chocolate is also delicious.

Hangzhou Uptown Indigo Hotel, a designer hotel under InterContinental, is relatively close to West Lake. When I arrived at the hotel, I asked the front desk for a room upgrade. I saw that there were still suites available on the platform, but I was still rejected by the front desk. The reason was that the hotel did not participate in the membership system upgrade. The hotel compensated with a CNY 90 dining voucher. I don't know if other Indigo hotels have the same rules.

The hotel has only 6 floors in total, and the layout of the lobby is relatively compact. There is no lounge, only one restaurant. The buffet breakfast and the Indian restaurant are the same, and the restaurant is next to the lobby bar. The hotel opened in 2022, and the decoration facilities are very new. For a chill weekend with friends in Hangzhou, I chose Indigo by the West Lake.

'Song Trend' and 'Song Elegance' are the two main room types of the hotel. This time, I stayed in a 'Song Trend' room. The movable semi-transparent hanging screen in the center of the room perfectly presents the Song style. It also cleverly separates the bedroom and living room feel within the limited space.
In terms of facilities, Marshall Bluetooth speakers, limited edition Dyson hairdryers, and Nespresso capsule coffee machines are standard, along with handmade coarse pottery cups and specially embroidered custom bathrobes and slippers, enhancing the overall experience.
BTW, even the mineral water is customized in Hangzhou dialect. The Mini bar offers San Pellegrino, custom fruit-flavored beer, Hey Tea, Coke, and Kinder energy bars, replenished daily, which is quite generous.
You can feel Indigo Hangzhou Uptown's dedication to presenting ancient styles and pursuing refinement, not just on the surface but also in the details.

Indigo Hangzhou Uptown has only one restaurant named 'Yin,' serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea. Although the place is not large, it is indeed beautiful. The numerous round chandeliers, open wine cabinets in the lounge, and a variety of different wine glasses are impressive.

During this stay, I had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The dinner featured creative Hangzhou local flavors, such as Lily Jade Lotus, Song Sister Fish Soup, Garlic Pepper Eel, Almond Jelly... The cost performance, appearance, and taste are all good.
For breakfast, you can enjoy local specialties like Pian Er Chuan, small wontons, and Ding Sheng Cake. The downside is that the restaurant is indeed small, and seating can be tight during peak hours.

|1⃣️ The hotel is located on a section of Zhejiang Road that turns onto Huyu Road, near the Qiantang River. It's not far from Yu Huang Mountain, Bagua Fields, and the Southern Song Dynasty Guan Kiln Museum. It's about five kilometers from Jiuxi.
2⃣️ The hotel is newly opened, with all new facilities and a strong design sense, embodying the unique neighborhood atmosphere of Indigo.
3⃣️ The splendid corridor right at the entrance is very photogenic and will probably become a popular spot for social media check-ins. The lobby bar and restaurant make extensive use of floor-to-ceiling glass, offering a view filled with greenery and good lighting.
4⃣️ I was upgraded to an open-plan suite, 55 square meters. The hotel mentioned that suites are rare and upgrades are not easy to come by. The mini-fridge was free for the first time, stocked with tasty and special drinks and beer, and also very photogenic. The room's facilities and soft furnishings are nice, with a sense of design, very thoughtful, and of good quality.
5⃣️ I tried the afternoon tea, five-course dinner, red wine, and snacks at the restaurant on the first floor, and I feel the offerings are quite impressive, both in appearance and taste, and the prices are also reasonable.

I'm a little fan of this Indigo, having stayed there three times. I visited shortly after it opened, the hardware is good, the service is meticulous, and the location is actually very good although it's not in the scenic area, but it's actually convenient to go anywhere. From the unique lobby entrance of the hotel, you will feel the unique style of each Indigo. This time I asked for a standard room, the room is not big but the layout is reasonable, I am very satisfied with the dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, but the dinner is not as amazing as the previous two times.
