Fun but Surprisingly Tiring Pedal Boats at Akashi
At Go-no-Ike on the north side of Akashi Park, you can enjoy nostalgic-style boats. This pond was created using a natural pond that existed since the castle was built. When you start rowing the boat, you quickly realize if someone is slacking off. The pedals are heavy, and for someone out of shape, it was a good 30-minute workout. It's fun, so I recommend it, but make sure to row together harmoniously.
