#Spring0yentrip
I went to Iminomiya Shrine in Chofu, Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture☺️
This shrine is located in the center of Chofu, which was a castle town.
It is a very historic shrine that is also mentioned in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki⛩️
It is said to bring good luck as the god of victory and safe childbirth.
The Kazukatanii Festival, which is held for one week every August,
is famous as a "unique festival in Japan" with a history of 1,800 years, so if you are interested, please go and see it.
※Unique festival in Japan
Men carry bamboo flags and women carry lanterns called kiriko, and dance around the demon stone to the accompaniment of gongs and drums.
It was a spacious shrine with a sense of openness.
There is also a teahouse, so you can take a short break or have a meal☺️
