I visited it once in Takamatsu 5 years ago. The affordable prices and excellent food quality made me remember it. It’s a rare occasion to have dinner with friends in Japan, so I chose Isomaru Suisan again. There are 4 branches in Ikebukuro alone, so you don’t have to wait to be seated even if you don’t have a reservation on weekends. I don’t know if my personal taste has become more demanding or the quality of the restaurant has become mediocre... The quality and taste of the seafood are not as outstanding as in the past, but the only thing that remains the same is that the crab miso koroyaki is really delicious! ! For the real Harry Potter fans, you have to take the train at Ikebukuro station on the Toshima Line. The station has transformed into a Harry Potter theme station, the Forbidden Forest setting. I am not quite the Harry Potter fandom but there is a clock running super-fast, just like in the movies. Put on your Harry Potter robe and get ready to cast a spell. The on-site experiences for Harry Potter fans is a fantastic thing to be experience it in person. Along the Toshima line, you can go to other places too. Ikebukuro is a leading shopping and entertainment area in Tokyo, compare to shinjuku or ginza, this place have more locals than foreigners! It is very busy Area & popular for its shopping malls, shopping street and the huge anime-inspired departmental store! It’s very easy to access this area via public transport, but the metro station is huge and please make sure which area you heading to! There are 3 huge department stores, Tobu, Parco and Seibu at Ikebukuro. Shopping is really good at this part of Tokyo! We spend 1 full day explore this area, and we love it! Next trip we will consider to stay here! #meettokyo

First time exploring new area out of Shinjuku, this is Ikebukuro area which directly outside the station. Overall not so crowded and pleasant/ enjoying to explore around. There are many options from.food to pharmacy, convenience store. It also nearby the Lumine mall which mostly cater to the ladies. if you want a quiet area, Ikebukuro is the one for you to venture into

A temple located near Yomachi Station. As I passed by, I couldn't help but stop in my tracks, captivated by the beautifully blooming cherry blossoms. The cherry blossoms stretched towards the road, creating an arch that made me feel as though I was walking through a tunnel of flowers. It seems that there is a cafe called 'Bozu Cafe' attached to the temple, and it is a mysterious cafe that is said to be a lucky find if it happens to be open. Unfortunately, it was closed on the day I visited. Please check the official Instagram for business days and reservation availability.

| A hotel lived for a fire escape. Ichiran Ikebukuro Address : 1 Chome-39-11 Higashiikebukuro, Toshima City, Tokyo 170-0013, Japan This ramen place is open for 24hrs. I first heard of this brand in Taiwan. Had to queue for 2 hours plus for the outlet in Taiwan. I went to 2 of the outlet in osaka and they both have a minimum waiting time of 80 mins. Did not manage to get any seat after 4 trips to the restaurant. Surprisingly this outlet in ikebukuro wasn't crowded. We were second in line. We ordered through the vending machine. The service was fast. Each person have their own cubicle and we can request for no interaction. This was a good meal. #wheretogo
