🌟Hyatt House Kyoto
🏰A Modern Hideaway in an Ancient Capital
Kyoto, a city full of ancient charm, where every street feels like a corridor of time. Hyatt House Kyoto is hidden in such a historically rich place, with a superb location, close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Gion. When I first arrived at the hotel, I dragged my luggage and walked all the way from the bustling Gion, turned into a quiet alley, and suddenly saw the hotel gate. That transition from hustle and bustle to tranquility made me relax all of a sudden, feeling like I had found a secret base.
🛌As Comfortable as Being at Home
As soon as I entered the room, I was attracted by the warm atmosphere. The room was decorated with great care, with a modern minimalist style, and incorporated some traditional Kyoto elements, such as tatami-style carpets, and Japanese-style sliding doors, which made people feel very kind. I put down my luggage and couldn't wait to take a shower. The bathtub was huge, and the water temperature was just right. Soaking in it relieved the fatigue of the day. Moreover, the hotel's toiletries are of high quality, with a light and comfortable fragrance. After using them, my skin felt smooth, and I felt well taken care of.
🍽A Foodie's Paradise
Speaking of food, this place really surprised me. The hotel's breakfast selection is super rich, with traditional Japanese cuisine, such as sushi, sashimi, miso soup, as well as Western-style fried eggs, bacon, and bread, which can completely satisfy different tastes. Every morning, I couldn't help but take a few more items and sit by the floor-to-ceiling windows of the restaurant, eating delicious food while looking at the garden view outside. That kind of comfort is really a great enjoyment during the trip.
🌿Small Fortunes in the Courtyard
The hotel's courtyard is also my favorite. It is planted with many green plants, and there is a small pond with a few small fish swimming around. Once, when I was walking in the courtyard, I saw a little girl feeding the fish. She held bread crumbs in her hand and carefully stretched them to the edge of the pond. The fish immediately surrounded her, and she smiled very happily. I couldn't help but stop and watch this scene, feeling very warm. In such a vibrant courtyard, time seems to slow down.
🎉Those Little Things That Make Me Happy
This check-in really had many small details that made me happy. For example, the front desk staff was very enthusiastic, greeting me with a smile every time I entered and exited, and recommending many fun places nearby. Once, I went out to play and came back very late. The hotel left a light on for me, which felt very considerate. Another time, I couldn't find a hair dryer in the room, and someone brought it over in less than five minutes after calling room service. The service was really excellent.
In short, this experience at Hyatt House Kyoto really made me very satisfied. From the comfortable rooms to the delicious breakfast, to those thoughtful little details, I felt like I was at home. Next time I come to Kyoto, I will definitely stay here again!
