[2024 Changchun Stay] Travel Guide for Hyatt Place Changchun Jingyue (Updated Dec)
Don't stay in the south of the city, Changchun Hyatt Place Changchun Jingyue
Moved from the Holiday Inn Express at Ecological Square to the Hyatt Place Changchun Jingyue, which is further south. Although it is still far from the subway station, the high-rise buildings and busy traffic outside the window make it feel like a bustling city. It feels much more lively.
The hotel owner, Minyoun, is an old partner of the Hyatt Group. I have stayed at the highly acclaimed Hyatt Place Nanchong, which is a model of cooperation between the two. The operation model of this hotel in Changchun is similar to that of Nanchong. Hyatt Place and the owner's self-operated Haoya share a building. In addition to sharing some public areas, the rest are operated separately. So when you get on the elevator, you can see that there are more than 30 floors, but the highest floor belonging to Hyatt Place is only the 13th floor. The better floors above are self-operated by Minyoun.
The overall design inspiration of the hotel should come from Changchun Film Studio, so film-related images such as film and cameras will continue to appear in various forms such as decorative paintings or sculptures throughout the hotel. The style is more business-oriented, with a clear and elegant color scheme, and the hardware and maintenance standards are also good. It is even more rare that compared with hotels of the same level, the configuration of various small appliances in the room is so complete.
The benefits for Globalists are certainly not as good as Minyoun Diamonds. In addition to the welcome fruit, the room is upgraded by one level. But as the view outside the window gets better, it is really noisy at night. The breakfast the next day was acceptable, and it was no problem to eat enough. The fitness center is on the 4th floor, which feels like a temporary renovation of a guest room. There are not too many or too few equipment, but the atmosphere is a bit awkward.
Overall, wandering around the south of Changchun for two days is indeed boring. I changed two hotels, and although they are both acceptable, I suggest that tourists stay in the city center if they can.
