The stone pot rice here is very light and the rice tastes good. If you order a set menu, various side dishes are served, and the side dishes are also light and delicious. Hwanseongul Cave in Samcheok! I went there without any expectations, but I was so, so satisfied! I was really overwhelmed by the majesty of nature. It was the largest cave I've ever been to! Since it's a limestone cave, you can see various terrains, so it was a feast for the eyes! I was a geography nerd when I was a student, so looking at the karst terrain was so much funㅎ The downside is that there's only one route, so you can't turn back even if your legs hurtㅠ I think it took about 40 minutes to go around once..? And I definitely recommend going in the summer! It's a cave, so it's chilly even in the summer! 📍Hwanseongul Cave (Daeidonggul Management Office, 800 Hwanseon-ro, Singi-myeon, Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do) I took an intercity bus for about an hour on my way to Gangneung and went to Samcheok :-) Hwanseongul Cave is the largest limestone cave in the East that was formed 530 million years ago. The viewing section is about 1.6km and the course takes about an hour. Daegumgul Cave, which is often visited along with Hwanseongul Cave in Samcheok, requires a reservation + no photography, so I chose Hwanseongul Cave! You have to walk about 20 minutes from the parking lot to the monorail platform! I visited on a rainy day, so the foggy atmosphere was the best..💚⛰🌫 You can purchase it separately from the admission fee and board according to the schedule. The view from the monorail was also very beautiful🧡🚇 The inside of the cave is cool and there is water dripping, so I recommend a raincoat. (Not sold separately, I bought it at the terminal) There are stairs and slippery floors throughout the course, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes! The cave was scary, but 🥲 many children came too~ I was able to feel the splendid and magnificent nature. 🍀 Hwanseongul 🌈 When I went to Samcheok, the best thing I remember was Hwanseongul! I wanted to go to Daegumgul but I remember not being able to go because it was a reservation system 🥲 But I recommend Hwanseongul! It was my first time going to a cave, but it was so much more fun and amazing than I thought, so it was a special experience! I especially recommend it in the summer :) Because it's so cool. A little cold? So I recommend wearing a thin outerwear. There are so many fun things to do, like the map of the Republic of Korea and the rainbow bridge. When I searched for places to go in Gangwon-do on a rainy day, I saw that Samcheok Cave was recommended, so I went..! However, on the way to Hwanseon Cave, the valley and mountain are steep, so if you go on a rainy day, it would be dangerous due to a landslide.. Fortunately, it didn't rain, so I was fine! When you get off at the parking lot, there is a ticket booth, and if you go up a little further, there is a place to ride a cable car. When you get off the cable car, you will be right at Hwanseon Cave! It took about 40 minutes to go around once..! You can't go out through the entrance, so you have to go out through the exit.. (If you are afraid of places like elevators, never go there..) And it is slippery, so wear non-slip shoes..! The cave tour route has been extended, so it takes 30 minutes for one tour. It is the largest limestone cave in the East that grows 0.1cm per year, so there is a lot to see. Since it is a cave formed over tens of thousands of years, it seems like it will provide a valuable experience as a monument. I highly recommend it as a must-see place along with the spectacular coast of Samcheok.

I'm traveling domestically with my parents for the first time in a long time! We went to Samcheok Address 🎵 Daei Cave Management Office, 800 Hwanseon-ro, Singi-myeon, Samcheok-si, Gangwon-do 🎶 Operating hours Winter (November~February): 09:30~ticket sales close at 16:00 / Summer (March~October): 09:00~ticket sales close at 17:00 Admission fee is 4,500 won for adults / 3,000 won for teenagers / 2,000 won for children! The monorail to the entrance of Hwanseon Cave is 200m (2 minutes), and if you walk, it's about 1km (40 minutes), so we took the monorail ~ The monorail is 7,000 won round trip! It rained a lot that day, so I bought a raincoat for 2,000 won at the store,,, If I hadn't, I would have frozen to death 🥲 It's super cold in the cave!
