The hot springs, ancient architecture, and beautifully maintained gardens make it a must-visit in Xi’an. Walking through the palace grounds, I could feel the rich history, especially with the love story of Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei adding a romantic touch to the experience. The scenery is breathtaking, especially with the backdrop of Mount Li, and the pools still give off an air of luxury. The on-site performance, ‘The Song of Everlasting Sorrow,’ was a highlight—it was beautifully choreographed and brought history to life. The only downside was that it can get quite crowded, especially during peak tourist seasons, but the beauty of the place makes it worth it.
