At night, the Huangpu River resembles a dazzling silver ribbon, linking the scenic views of Shanghai's two banks into a painting. I boarded a cruise ship, slowly sailing into this radiant night scene. The river gently lapped against the boat, a breeze brushed my face, and the sound of water and the city's whispers filled my ears. The boat set off from the Bund, with the historic International Architecture Exhibition on one side, its classical facades illuminated by lights, telling the century-old story of Shanghai; on the other side stood the skyscrapers of Lujiazui, with Jin Mao Tower, the World Financial Center, and Shanghai Tower towering like giants, their neon lights showcasing modern prosperity. As the boat passed under the Waibaidu Bridge, the lights on both sides of the Huangpu River mirrored like a galaxy, making one marvel at the beauty of the fusion between the city and nature. In the night breeze, the distant Oriental Pearl Tower seemed to wink and smile, reflecting the romance and vitality of this city. This short journey allowed me to deeply feel the unique charm of Shanghai, both ancient and modern, like an unfinished poem.

If you book a seat on the upper deck, the price will be higher, but you will get to see the show and see the view more clearly. On the ship, there is a buffet service. I finally made a trip to Shanghai. staying at the excellent hotel Eton, I immediately hurried to the embankment, next to the Orient television tower. immediately opposite is the Bund area, known for its scenic area, where locals and visitors like to take pictures, drink coffee or dine by the river. The city is magnificent both in the morning and in the evening. I was amazed by the light of the illuminations in the evening, just a bewitching sight, I want to stand and watch all the time. it was a beautiful place especially at night when the city is bright with so many beautiful colors. you can walk on glass looking down on the city; there’s a space room with outer space suites and an area to watch under the sea creatures animated through virtual reality. there are some gift shops that are reasonable with their prices and they sell beautiful things.
