Sizu Temple, formerly known as Zhengjue Temple, also known as Shuangfeng Temple, is the dojo of the fourth-generation Buddhist patriarch Daoxin Master. It is located in the west mountain 15 kilometers northwest of Huangmei County. The temple was founded in the seventh year of Wude in Tang Dynasty (AD 624) and has a history of more than 1,380 years. It not only occupies an important position in the development history of Buddhism in my country, but also is a famous tourist destination. Xishan is also known as Po'e Mountain and Potou Mountain, and there is a poem as proof: "In front of Po'e Mountain, there is a jasper stream, and Sao people are stationed in a Mulan boat." According to historical records, the Four Ancestor Temple was very prosperous in the Tang and Song Dynasties, with more than 800 halls and pavilions and more than a thousand monks. The entire ancient temple building is staggered with walls and pavilions, layer upon layer, and antique. The main buildings include Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Ksitigarbha Hall, Zushi Hall, Guanyin Hall, Abbot's Room and so on. In addition to temple buildings, there are also many historical sites, such as Tianmen Gate, Ertian Gate, Huaqiao, Jasper Stream, and more than 30 landscapes such as Pilu Pagoda, Luban Pavilion, and Chuanfa Cave.
