Twin towers, White House: Guiyang, Huaguoyuan
Getting There - There are buses, meter taxis or one can order a Didi to the park.
Attractions - There are beautiful state of the art buildings including the recently built twin towers, the White House (huge castle facing the park: word in the street is it is apparently a private home that belongs to two brothers who settled in Huaguoyuan a long time ago, and they are the ones that have developed it to be what it is today)
Hotels - I initially thought the White House was a hotel but it ain’t, there are lots of hotels around though accommodating all ranges of people.
Food & Restaurants - This is located in the heart of the CBD of Huaguoyuan, so there are vast amounts of places to wine and dine.
Shopping - There is a mall on one side of the park and you can shop for literally anything from there.
The views are so spectacular at night, so I thought I would share with you guys.

Spring Outing to the Fortress (VI): Guiyang's White House and Twin Towers
Those familiar with Guiyang know the famous Wulichong and Pengjiawan area, located in the center of Guiyang City, tucked to the south of Qianling Mountain. It is a very famous community in Guiyang with cheap rent and a complex mix of quality.
Previously, this area was full of dilapidated houses, overcrowded, and littered with sewage and garbage. The security situation was also poor. Around 2010, Guiyang began a large-scale shantytown renovation project. A real estate company called Honglicheng won the bid for this plot of land and created a project called Huaguoyuan, which was said to be China's largest residential complex at the time, with a population of several hundred thousand people, a typical reconstruction of a new city!
The owner of Honglicheng, ahead of time, found a location near the World Trade Twin Towers (also a pride of Guiyang people), opposite the Huaguoyuan Shopping Center, with Huaguoyuan Wetland Park in front. He built a structure designed by a British architect in the style of an English castle. The exterior color of the building is the same as the White House in the United States, also using the gray sandstone from Aquia Creek in Virginia, but its actual name is not 'White House.' It's just that because the exterior color is similar, the people of Guiyang gave it the nickname 'White House.'
In fact, this was not the owner's intention, because this 'White House' has nothing in common with the White House in the United States except for the exterior paint used, and the architect is British (the White House architect was Irish). Being called the White House was not the owner's intention, but there's no helping it, the people of Guiyang are just that humorous.
However, Guiyang's 'White House' remains stubbornly itself, with no 'White House' marked on the map. This title only exists in the mouths of the vendors in front of the Wetland Park, pointing it out to visiting tourists.
On the map, this place has a posh name: Huaguoyuan Art Center.
The Guiyang Huaguoyuan Twin Towers are the A and B towers of the Guiyang International Trade Center (ITC), with a total height of 406 meters, making them the tallest buildings in Guizhou Province and a landmark of Guiyang.
The design of the Guiyang International Trade Center Twin Towers draws from the faceted elements of 'crystals,' combined with the powerful and tense upward edges, allowing the building to present a myriad of glows at different times due to the angle and intensity of the light. Because their shape is very similar to the New York World Trade Twin Towers, they are often compared by the public.
As night falls and the lights come on, men and women, young and old, gather at the Huaguoyuan Wetland Park Square. This is the performance site for the internet-famous 'Thousand People Square Dance,' mainly featuring young people born in the 90s and 00s.
With the dynamic melody starting, everyone begins to join in the performance of the 'Super Dance Crew.' Regardless of age or whether the movements are professional, they all immerse themselves in their own dance, freely expressing themselves, with the main focus on having fun.

I was amazed by Guiyang and had to check in on this beautiful night view route
The city at night always exudes a unique charm that is fascinating. The night view of Guiyang is no exception; its beauty and shock have left a deep impression on me.
I was really moved to tears by the beauty of Guiyang's night view😍! Cyberpunk, ancient charm, and grandeur, everything is here.
If you come to Guiyang for a trip, be sure to spend an evening🕘, and embark on this must-go route for enjoying Guiyang's night view!
👉🏻Starting point: Jiaxiu Tower. This is a landmark building of Guiyang🗼~ It is recommended to arrive at 5:30 PM, so you can capture the sunset🌇, and after the lights come on at six, you can enjoy the beautiful night view. The best spots for taking photos are on both sides of the moat, where you can take pictures of people with Jiaxiu Tower, or go to the rooftop of a four-story building across the street to capture a panoramic view.
⬇️
Take a taxi from Jiaxiu Tower to Qingyun Market at 6:30 PM🚕. This place is a trendy gathering spot transformed from an old factory, with a style somewhat like the cyberpunk vibe of Changsha's Dachangsha Food City Fortress. Strolling on the pedestrian street, numerous neon signs create a magical atmosphere🎇. There's also the Umbrella Street and the trendy bar street, bustling with excitement, perfect for enjoying dinner here.
⬇️
Then take a taxi to Huaguoyuan Wetland Park. Although it's called a park, it's more like a plaza🤩. As soon as you get off, you can see the White House; walk into the plaza to where many photographers set up their stalls, and that's the best spot to take pictures of the White House! Using a fill light for photography📷 gives a better effect. The grandeur of the White House is astonishing, somewhat like The Parisian Macao. The lights are usually turned off around 10:30 PM.
Come and experience the charm of Guiyang's night view together🤗!
