The weather was pretty good this afternoon, so I decided to go out for a walk. I came across Guiyang White House online, which was described as a great spot for photos in a wealthy area. So, I decided to check it out in person. Well, it's nice. It's a good place for taking photos, and the pictures turn out great. The wetland park is quite large, perfect for a stroll. There's also some crayfish, and a mall next to the park where you can shop, eat, and drink. It's even better for photos at night. You can take pictures of the White House and the office buildings on the other side. Whether it's day, night, or rainy, you can capture three different scenes at once. Awesome! Getting There - There are buses, meter taxis or one can order a Didi to the park. Attractions - There are beautiful state of the art buildings including the recently built twin towers, the White House (huge castle facing the park: word in the street is it is apparently a private home that belongs to two brothers who settled in Huaguoyuan a long time ago, and they are the ones that have developed it to be what it is today) Hotels - I initially thought the White House was a hotel but it ain’t, there are lots of hotels around though accommodating all ranges of people. Food & Restaurants - This is located in the heart of the CBD of Huaguoyuan, so there are vast amounts of places to wine and dine. Shopping - There is a mall on one side of the park and you can shop for literally anything from there. Hi-Le Block Opened in February 2024, Hi-Le Block is an immersive micro-performance-themed pedestrian street. Guiyang Photo Guide | Huaguoyuan White House + Twin Towers Guizhou White House (Huaguoyuan Art Center) I heard that this is a private mansion that cost 2.7 billion yuan to build. It is one of the new landmarks in Guizhou and an important destination for countless tourists to check in when they come to Guizhou. This place is more suitable for taking photos in the evening. From day to night, when all the lights are on, it is super shocking! Generally, the lights are turned on at around 19:30 and turned off at around 23:50. This is for your reference only. You can choose a classic seat: Huaguoyuan Wetland Park East Gate Excellent camera position, just across the street, you can take photos of the Guiyang White House and its reflection in the water when you walk into the park, and you can take panoramic photos; overpass Standing on the overpass with the White House as the background is suitable for taking bust portraits. It is located on the Nanming River. It was first built in the 26th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1598). The building was built on a huge stone in the river. It has been renovated many times throughout the dynasties. The existing building is the relic of the reconstruction in the first year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty (1909). Jiaxiu Tower is divided into three floors, all with white stone railings, which are gradually reduced. Guiyang! Huaguoyuan! My boyfriend is amazing! He really knows how to find a hotel! This is my first time traveling to Guiyang! This hot spring hotel is really great! Smart facilities, high-altitude views, and a comfortable experience. If you want to visit Guiyang, you must stay here! Great location The hotel is located in the center of the business district, only 1.6 km from Guiyang Railway Station, and it takes about 6 minutes to get there. The Twin Towers and the White House are right across the street, so you can stay in the CBD, which is amazing! There is also Huaguoyuan Shopping Center and Commercial Street nearby, and Huaguoyuan Wetland Park is only a ten-minute walk away. Great experience The room is very clean and provides disposable face towels, bath towels, and toilet seat covers, so even a clean freak like me can stay here with peace of mind. The pillow is a memory pillow, and there is also a humidifier and a water heater, which is really more comfortable than sleeping at home. The most surprising thing is that the room is equipped with a Dyson hair dryer, which is very friendly to women! Beautiful view I love the large floor-to-ceiling windows in the room, which offer a panoramic view of the night scene. Those familiar with Guiyang know the famous Wulichong and Pengjiawan area, located in the center of Guiyang City, tucked to the south of Qianling Mountain. It is a very famous community in Guiyang with cheap rent and a complex mix of quality. Previously, this area was full of dilapidated houses, overcrowded, and littered with sewage and garbage. The security situation was also poor. Around 2010, Guiyang began a large-scale shantytown renovation project. A real estate company called Honglicheng won the bid for this plot of land and created a project called Huaguoyuan, which was said to be China's largest residential complex at the time, with a population of several hundred thousand people, a typical reconstruction of a new city! The owner of Honglicheng, ahead of time, found a location near the World Trade Twin Towers (also a pride of Guiyang people), opposite the Huaguoyuan Shopping Center, with Huaguoyuan Wetland Park in front. He built a structure designed by a British architect in the style of an English castle. If you come to Guiyang for a trip, be sure to spend an evening🕘, and embark on this must-go route for enjoying Guiyang's night view! 👉🏻Starting point: Jiaxiu Tower. This is a landmark building of Guiyang🗼~ It is recommended to arrive at 5:30 PM, so you can capture the sunset🌇, and after the lights come on at six, you can enjoy the beautiful night view. But be sure to enter from the east gate! There will be fewer people if you don’t queue! 2️⃣ When you go to Qianling Mountain, be sure to put water and snacks away and keep a safe distance from the monkeys! Be careful of scratches and bites. 3️⃣ Go to the White House to take photos at night and take a taxi to Huaguoyuan Wetland Park. The best photo spot is on the left, and be sure to turn on the flash! 4️⃣ Huaguoyuan is crowded at night, so girls should be careful if they go there alone at night! Go early and come back early! 5️⃣ For snacks, we recommend going to Minsheng Road! There are so many different types! 6️⃣If you like taking photos, you can go to citywalk! Taiping Road➡️Provincial Government North Street➡️Radio Street➡️Wenbi Street➡️Minsheng Road, this route is both delicious and fun! 7️⃣ Accommodation must be booked in advance! We booked late, so we were not satisfied with the stay. 8️⃣ It is recommended to stay at the fountain, which is very convenient to go anywhere nearby. 9️⃣ It is not recommended to go to the Catholic church that is very popular on the Internet. After going there, I felt it was just average. 1️⃣0️⃣You must eat Guizhou Laoguo! I love it! But it is recommended to serve it with lettuce, which is more authentic. The restaurant we randomly found in Qingyun Market didn’t taste very good.
