《Taipei》 Howard Plaza Hotel Breakfast~
The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei
Address: No. 160, Section 3, Ren'ai Road, Da'an District, Taipei City
This time I stayed at the Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei~
The Howard Plaza Hotel Taipei opened in 1984, and it has been 37 years. Although it is an old hotel, it is very well maintained. You can feel the full Chinese style as soon as you enter the door.
The part from B2 to the fourth floor is a shopping street, selling branded goods. It can be seen that the Howard Plaza Hotel used to be a very high-end five-star hotel.
Breakfast🥣:
The previous episode introduced the facilities and rooms of the Howard Plaza Hotel. This episode will introduce the breakfast of the Rainbow Seat. The breakfast is mainly Chinese, with many varieties, and there are also some Western and Hong Kong-style meals. The service staff is very friendly, and it is great overall!
The breakfast at Rainbow House is NT$680 plus 10% (a bit expensive)
Time is from 6am to 10pm (very long)
Recommended
Beef balls, steamed fish, siu mai, beef dumplings (I would like to ask if the Hong Kong-style snacks at Rainbow House are from Pearl's Square. If you know, please leave a message below. Thank you)
Highly recommended
Red heart guava juice (super delicious)
As mentioned earlier, it is mainly Chinese food, so there are sesame seed cakes, fried dough sticks, egg pancakes, radish cakes and Taiwanese poached eggs (the kind with soy sauce)
Thunder points
1. There are fruit flies in the cold dish area (very scary, there are photos below)
2. I think the most ridiculous thing is its hash browns. At first, I went to get the hash browns with great expectations, but I couldn't bite them no matter how hard I bit them. It turned out that they were fried for too long and the potatoes inside were fried to golden brown. It may also be that I was unlucky and got the one that was fried the longest. (You may not know what I am talking about, I put the photo at the end)
Breakfast experience
I think it is super cool to have sesame seed cakes and fried dough sticks for breakfast, and the food at Rainbow Seat is pretty delicious, but if you buy one separately, it costs 680, which I think is a bit expensive and not worth it.
