Qingdao and Weihai are beautiful, but Yantai is even more so. Especially in winter, when there are few tourists, the blue sea and sky are even more beautiful. The city is full of artistic vibes, and you don't have to wait in line to take photos. You can go to the beach to take photos in the afternoon when the tide is low. - ✅Lonely Whale (Pic 2) Navigate to Lonely Whale. You can come early in the morning. The light and shadow of the sunrise are beautiful, and there are few tourists. - ✅Sky Appointment (Pic 3) It is very close to Lonely Whale. You can visit both. - ✅Housha Square (Pic 4) The glass bridge extends over the sea. It is a great place to take photos, especially at sunrise and sunset. - ✅Time Tower (Pic 5) A 5-minute walk from Lonely Whale. - ✅Stairway to Heaven (Pic 6) Pics 2-6 are all at Golden Beach. You can spend half a day visiting all of them. There are many white watchtowers on the beach, which are great for taking photos. - ✅Yangma Island Photo Frame (Pic 7) Navigate to Yubi Garden on Yangma Island. You need to go down to the beach and then go up to the abandoned building. Yantai Hill Lighthouse (Pic 12) The photo spot is at the Starbucks on Chaoyang Street near Yantai Hill. 🌊 Having seen many seas at home and abroad, Yantai has its own distinct temperament and characteristics! Nan Hong Street Night Market: On the way back to the hotel, night markets are more or less the same, but what left a deep impression was a cold snack called spicy chicken that I haven't seen anywhere else 😝 PS: Since I was traveling with my mom, we didn't leave until 4 PM after a nap. Day3⃣: Yangma Island - Xinyang Restaurant - Yantai👉Nanjing Yangma Island: The jelly-like clear sea, most of the photo spots on Yangma Island are on the west coast. No need for navigation, just head to where there are lots of cars and people. Half a day is enough. The Xinyang Restaurant on the island is very famous and was the best meal of the trip! 😋 Experience Summary: 1⃣ The airport is very far from the city center, so it's recommended to travel by high-speed rail. 🚄 2⃣ Choose to stay in Zhifu District, where the facilities are complete and it's convenient to go anywhere. We stayed at an old-brand five-star hotel, right next to Yantai Mountain, Chaoyang Street, and Binhai Square. You can see the sea from the bed, and there's even a hotel-exclusive viewing platform to watch the sunrise at sea! The price is also affordable. 😃 3⃣ The key to the jelly sea of Yangma Island is the weather and tides. The sea is bluer on sunny days, and the jelly effect is best during the high tide of the active tide. The tide times vary every day, and if you don't know how to read a tide table, just ask the owner of the electric car rental shop. 5⃣ The ring road around Yangma Island is a counterclockwise one-way street and can get congested. It's best to rent an electric car near Tianma Square, usually 💰50 yuan with no time limit. 6⃣ The seafood in Yantai is especially fresh and the portions are generous! Be careful with how much you order! I think the sea intestine rice is just average (maybe my expectations were too high), 💰158 per serving, not as delicious as ordinary fish, shrimp, and crab. 😜 Come to Yantai for a wonderful trip!

Come in the afternoon, and after circling the island, watch the sunset at Xishan Bay. There are many check-in points on Yangma Island: Zhang Island (red boardwalk, conch cave), Yubi Garden (big photo frame), sea erosion caves (Dog Demon Eighteen Caves), Island Diary (popular coffee shop), Lotus Sunset (lonely tree, island letter, popular cave). 5️⃣Fisherman's Wharf: Coming to Yantai without visiting Fisherman's Wharf is like not coming at all! The European-style buildings along the coast resemble a seaside town in Europe, and the same sea track as in Spirited Away is also here. 6️⃣Yantai Mountain: Features Bing Xin's former residence, Dragon King Temple, Relang Pavilion, and offers a high view of the sea. 7️⃣Chaoyang Street: A street with a Republic of China style. The lightbox signs on both sides of the street are very distinctive. 8️⃣Suochengli: A traditional Yantai residential street. You can climb up to Xuanhua Gate to overlook the entire Suochengli. 🌄Travel tips: 1️⃣Two-wheeled electric scooter Ride an electric scooter around Yangma Island. Parking is convenient during peak season! Choose a powerful one for two people, otherwise, you’ll need to push it uphill. 2️⃣Bus No. 17 Bus No. 17 covers almost all the attractions from Yumeiren Square to Chaoyang Street. The double-decker bus runs along the coastline, enjoying the sea breeze and the night view of Fisherman's Wharf.
