I stayed at Hotel Tavinos Kyoto. It's conveniently located at the Kawaramachi-Gojo intersection, just a few steps from Kiyomizu-Gojo Station on the Keihan Railway, and within walking distance of central Kyoto. The rooms don't have bathtubs, clocks, alarms, or phones, but they do have large TVs and cute interiors. They provide free bread in the morning, although in limited quantities. They also offer a light drink service in the lobby lounge for those who need it. The front desk staff were mostly young, so the place was quite lively. I'd recommend this place for a quick stop when you're in Kyoto.

This photogenic hotel opened in July 2021 in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto. It also has good access to nearby tourist attractions. There are several different room designs, and you can choose the room you want when you check in. There is unlimited manga to read in the lobby, creating a very Japanese atmosphere. The free breakfast is also a plus. I had milk bread, chocolate bread, and coffee. It's also great that you can eat this on the terrace attached to the lobby. The room only plan was ¥3,230 per person per night.

Hotel Tavinos has manga-themed interiors, and I've been to Hamamatsucho and Asakusa in Tokyo, but every hotel is unique and fun. Kyoto also uses "MANGA" to express various scenes that evoke a different "Japanese atmosphere" than Tokyo, and the illustrations designed everywhere from the lobby to the rooms were very cute. Happy stay with the hotel.Just walking distance to convenient shop and attractions. Room is clean although it is not big, but enough for couple stay with 2 32inch luggage.

The accommodation I stayed at during my recent trip to Kyoto, HOTEL TAVINOS The price is reasonable! The location is good! It's clean! It was a great value for money accommodation. You can check in yourself and choose from the remaining rooms, and above all, there were more foreign travelers than Koreans, so it really felt like I was on vacation. They also provide breakfast bread, and unlimited coffee! ☕️ It's close to the shopping street, and it's safe to take a walk at night, and there's a 24-hour mart right in front, and a convenience store on the first floor of the same building, so it was very convenient. Oh, I recommend you try the izakaya right in front. Try the sake omakase ~ 🍶

Very convenient 5 minutes straight walk from the hotel towards Kiyomizu Temple. I went to eat on the way to Kiyomizu Temple, believe me, enough to eat enough to visit Kiyomizu Temple and all the nearby attractions. 😉 I had meal B this time, which was ramen with fried chicken, and meal A with dumplings. Needless to say for those who love to eat scallions, this ramen is unbeatable 👍👍👍 The fried chicken is also quite crispy and juicy.
