Palacio Retiro, Autograph Collection
📍Madrid Alfonso XII 14
This hotel is very easy to get to from Madrid Airport. Take the subway to Retiro Park Station and walk for a few minutes. The location of the hotel is really great, right across from the Retiro Park. We can go walking or running in the park as soon as we step out the door, which is great! 📸Richi Park is not only suitable for walking, but also for taking beautiful photos.
The first impression of the hotel is very high-end🏰. This place used to be a nobleman's home and still retains many architectural details from the past, giving it a very historical feel. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful. If you have any questions during your stay, they will do their best to help you solve them. The front desk reception was quite professional, check-in was quick, and a welcome drink was provided🍸.
As soon as I entered the room, I was immediately attracted by the spacious space. The room was not only large but also tastefully decorated, clean and tidy. Our room also had 3 balconies with a beautiful view outside. It was a great start to the day to open the curtains and see the park in the morning. The room is equipped with many facilities, such as a capsule coffee machine☕️, so that we can enjoy delicious coffee in the room.
In the morning, we chose the hotel's breakfast. There were many choices 🍽️, the food was fresh and delicious, and it was completely worth the money. The hotel provides a buffet breakfast with a variety of European-style snacks and fresh fruits🥐🍇, which puts us in a good mood all day long.
As the hotel is located in the center of Madrid, surrounding attractions are also very close. The Prado National Museum is just a few minutes' walk away and the art collections there are definitely worth seeing. There is also the Thyssen Museum and many niche escape room games nearby, such as La Orden by Experiencity Escape Room and The City by Experiencity, which adventure lovers should not miss.
In terms of dining, there are many highly rated restaurants near the hotel. We went to a restaurant called Brunchit - Las Letras, which had a super delicious brunch, and also tried the Spanish specialties of Los Montes de Galicia 🍲. If you’re looking for a healthier meal, head to Almalibre Açaí House and try their delicious açaí bowls.
Overall, the Palacio Retiro, Autograph Collection was absolutely the perfect choice for our stay in Madrid. The excellent geographical location, comfortable and elegant rooms, thoughtful service...all make us feel that it is worth the money. Whether it is a short stay or a long vacation, this is a good choice for you🍀.
