On the second morning in Aveiro, I wanted to eat Portuguese desserts 🍮 with coffee, and I happened to see Ramos, which had just opened! There were no customers when I sat down at first, but it was full in a short while. It turned out that I accidentally came across a popular restaurant. I was so lucky 👍 The most famous items in the store are egg tarts, white icing sugar and baked bread. I personally feel that every egg tart I have eaten in Portugal is like a delicacy. The dense texture is quite different from Andre in Macau, it is hard to describe ❤️. The frosting is a little too sweet for me, it's like eating candy bars! So I was wondering if I should drop by some other cities along the way for the sake of exploration. At last I picked Aveiro, which has the reputation of being “Venice of the Portugal”. I personally found the name over the top, because it has only a medium sized canal, which is nothing comparable to Venice. But I did manage to take some photogenic photos, which made the trip somewhat worthy. But actual view-wise, if you’re after Venice-like canals, you might wanna reconsider your choices. You might wanna take the time to take a train to Sintra instead when you’re in Lisbon.

Aveiro is often called as The Portugal’s Venice as it has scenic canals and boats. What’s unique in Aveiro is the train station. The wall is ornamented with old tiles. The station is said to be built in 1864.
