The ceiling of the Nice hotel - a living heritage
The Negresco Hotel is not just a hotel, but a living museum! Some say the hotel's paintings and sculptures are a bit disorganized, but let me ask you, if you had over 6,000 precious oil paintings, artworks, and furniture collections at home, would you arrange them like a museum?
Of course not
You are living, not visiting!
Every corner of the hotel's lobby, corridors, and stairs is a carefully designed surprise, somewhat similar to the changing scenery of Jiangnan gardens. Enjoy the fun of opening blind boxes to your heart's content~
The hotel has a portrait of Louis XIV in red high heels
There are only three in all of France, and the other two are treasured in the Louvre and Versailles. See if you can find it, lucky you~
My favorite is still the hotel's suites (picture 2). The furnishings, colors, and artworks in the different styled suites are all different. Open the window of the sea view room and you will see the blue sea of Nice. It's really worth staying a hundred times~
The hotel's private beach🏖️, small garden, swimming pool🏊, and Michelin restaurant...

Hotel Le Negresco is a landmark in Nice. It was named after Henri Negresco (né Alexandru Negrescu, 1868–1920), who had the palatial hotel constructed in 1912.
He was educated and worked as a confectioner at the luxurious Casa Capșa in Bucharest, Romania, and left home at the age of 25. As director of the Municipal Casino in Nice, he had the idea to build a sumptuous hotel of quality that would attract the wealthiest of clients.
Although soon after opening, the First World War broke out and so he never really saw his dream realised.
Having said this, the hotel has been restored to what Henri Negresco envisaged. The hotel features a spectacular Baccarat 16,309-crystal chandelier in the Negresco’s Royal Lounge which was commissioned by Czar Nicholas II, who due to the October revolution, was unable to take delivery.

In the evening is the Grand Hotel Negresco, the best hotel in Nice, located on the English boulevard, with a window that reveals the Cte d'Azur. And the price is very high.
Into the hotel lobby, the artistic atmosphere is coming. The reception area is not very large, but the efficiency of the waiters is still very high, so we have very little waiting time.
And the real rest hall is here, the two pillars are made into a space, forming an oval space, and the hollowed out place is hung with a famous treasure, like a museum.
A few exhibitions of huge crystal lamps hang down, the art is luxurious, neither low-key nor unassuming, just like the interpretation of the French feelings, highlighting the French esteem.
There are ten identical copper ornaments throughout the hall, two little angels watching. The
hall also has a group of children's favorite areas, a few cute cartoon characters, and a child's favorite car. On designing, I give full marks to the public areas of this hotel.
The hotel is famous in France for having a portrait of Louis XIV comparable to Versailles and the Louvre. Walk into the lobby, such as entering an art palace.
The design of each place is called screaming in detail, even the most easily overlooked bathroom, it is amazing. And this very artistic washroom is divided between men and women, haha, very curious what kind of design is on the men's side?
