Super clean hotel. Walking distance to Nanjing Road. Plenty of eatery just opposite the hotel, some 24 hours. Luckin Coffee and Chagee is walking distance too. People's Square Station Exit 14 is a distance to walk, not far but bare in mind if you're pulling your luggage, forget about going to Exit 14. There is no escalator or lift, only stairs. I suggest you to go into the mall (Raffles City Mall - I think that's the name) and just find the exit to the back of the building and keep walking. If you see the Oriental Pearl Tower in front of you that means you're heading the right direction. Hotel reception is all super friendly - ChenChen helped me a lot with all the questions I asked from breakfast to Didi to directions to Taobao and food delivery. Breakfast is simple and sufficient RMB 38 per person, available to purchase at the reception. The staff is available to help you chat 24 hours a day. The room we chose was the Deluxe Room. The room did not have a window to view the view, but it was not stuffy. What I liked was that there was no smell of cigarette smoke in the room (coming to China, you have to take a chance). The room was big and spacious. You could open 2 large suitcases. The shower and toilet were separated. There was a large bathtub and mirror, and a small clothesline. Overall, it was worth the price.
