#timetotravel Wonderful family owned hotel/chalet in Grindelwald that is 15 mins walk away from the Grindelwald train terminal. As we had travelled from big cities like Vienna, Munich and Zurich, Hotel Cabana is the perfect place of relaxation, away from the hustle and bustle. Staff at the reception are nice, while checking in for us, she gave us advice as to how we can get tickets to jungfrau etc. Hotel Cabana is a traditional-looking chalet, and it is very well-maintained and clean. We booked the room with garden access and it did not disappoint!! On our first day, it did not snow so we get to enjoy the greenery. However, on our first night, it started snowing so we had the opportunity to also witness the snow ❄️😍 I definitely recommend staying at Hotel Cabana when you are in Grindelwald. #Overseas travel Grindelwald Eiger north wall view hotel The three representative Eiger north wall view hotels are Belvedere Hotel, Hotel Cabana, and Sunstar. The prices are in the order of Belvedere > Sunstar > Hotel Cabana and are expensive. I visited in July, when the weather in Switzerland is said to be the best, and it wasn't clear all four days I stayed, so I definitely recommend staying for multiple nights. In reality, Eiger north wall view is not usually possible with a one-night stay.

The bread types change every time, but the croissants are really delicious, and the pretzel-style croissants were my style. On the first day, I ate at the breakfast restaurant, and after that, I asked for a tray and ate in my room.

The Swiss Hotel Cabana is located between the Grindelwald Terminal and the Grindelwald Station, so it is really convenient to go to the Grindelwald Terminal when going to Jungfrau, and to the Grindelwald Station gondola when going to First! The shuttle is located at the Grindelwald Station, and it is a downhill road to Hotel Cabana.
