[2025 Bangkok Stay] Travel Guide for Hostel Urby (Updated Jan)

It was such a cozy place to stay in Bangkok. Great staff with with this very cleanness. You would love the location if you prefer quiet neighborhood, and not so far from the subway station and to the city center as well. Oh and I loved that they have a cafe during a day and a bar at night, so even when you’re not going anywhere you still can enjoy at the hostel looking at a river view with a nice food and drink:)

Whenever I plan to visit a destination, I always research the map in advance, then 'circle' the area to find accommodation, check transportation, etc. For example, I consider whether transportation is convenient, what beautiful scenery is around, and what good food is nearby. For solo travel in Thailand, I prioritize staying in hostels as they are economical. During the trip, you meet like-minded people, share stories, and make new friends. I really like this hostel. I stayed here for a few nights, and it was very comfortable and relaxing. The hostel is next to the Chao Phraya River pier and close to Chinatown. On the same floor, there is a café and a bar, and diagonally opposite is ICONSIAM (you can take a free ferry from the pier). Overall, it has a high cost-performance ratio and is aesthetically pleasing. In the evening, you can enjoy the river breeze on the balcony and listen to the cheers of tourists on the boats. Amazing Thailand, the more you travel, the happier you get.
