This park is located at Hortpark. A perfect place for when you need some peace and a park that is away from the city but still in the center. Not to mention, the amenities available here are very family friendly! There’s multiple playgrounds for kids to play on as well as benches throughout the park in case you wanna soak in the beautiful park atmosphere. #mysgmemories Surrounded by greenery and sounds of nature, the Nature Playgarden at HortPark, give kids unstructured play and letting their imagination run wild amongst nature. This playgarden has been designed to let young kids run around free without too many rules stopping their imagination from curtailing the fun of free play. Do wear hats and bring water bottles to keep yourselves hydrated. There’s plenty to do at this lovely park so afterwards you can explore the edible garden and have lunch at the Canopy Cafe.

Nice location to gather with friends and family to enjoy the tranquility of this Hort Park. It’s quite a big park and not very crowded. There are two restaurants to visit and they serve pretty good food. For gardening lovers, there is also a small shop to buy your gardening items and equipment. Recommend to visit! It’s a place where many couples take their wedding photography too. Though the size is smaller than the Botanic Gardens, it offers a reasonable amount of space for recreational activities. It’s also a recommended place to take photos and immerse yourself in the garden with beautiful plants and flowers

Hort Park is located at city area, connected to Kent Ridge Park and Telok Blangah Hill Park. It is home to beautiful themed gardens such as Floral Walk, Vertical Greenery, Pitter Patter Potter Garden, Edible Garden, Butterfly Garden, Silver Garden, Golden Garden, Therapeutic Garden and Balinese Garden etc. This park is also good for children, there are small little nature gardens for children's explorations. You can refill your water bottle from the drinking fountains. There is a restaurant called The Vineyard which is popular for private events such as wedding dinners, company lunch, and family gathering. Getting There - by bus 51, 61, 93, 97, 100, 166, 963 from Harbourfront Station or Labrador Park Station This garden is right in the urban Singapore. The further one ventures in, the more quiet it becomes and we really enjoy the tranquility here. The park is a one-stop hub for everything related to gardening. There are regular workshops conducted like how to make your own terrarium. There are some fun activities for kids too. Best of all, from here you can wander around the rest of the Southern Ridges nearby, which provides an awesome city view. Or you can come even explore Telok Blangah Hill Park and Labrador Nature Reserve #mustdo

Hort Park is known for its various gardens to allow visitors to escape from the bustle of city life. Before covid, there used to be educational workshops and activities open to the public for participation and allow them to learn more about plants and nature. Explore the various themed gardens maintained by NParks and take in the calm and serenity especially during non peak hours. Some of the gardens allow interaction and fun for both adults and children alike. The park is also a popular spot for joggers to run past the gardens and take in the fresh air too. It has community gardens where gardening enthusiasts love planting their greens. These plots of land are open to the residents for purchase to flex their green fingers. A morning walk in Hort Park doesn’t matter what kind of mood you had you will end feeling good and recharge. There are many way to enter the park. and it link to mount faber and Kent ridge park. easy to access. with couple of friends and family or even alone this park will not disappoint you. you have to explore the park yourself to under the kind of feelings of what an amazing park in the middle of city. from the uphill to Mount Faber to down hill to HarbourFront and the canopy with great view of the park. it can be quite crowded during the weekend unless you don’t mind otherwise I suggest to go during the weekdays to enjoy peace and quiet and sound of the nature. fresh air and beautiful flowers. also an idea please for photography fan, for sure you will not be disappointed with so much of the nature. #exlporesgtogether

#springitinerary Gardens walk itinerary? The silver garden is very fascinating. The big open space with several silver coloured plants can be seen here .There is a canopy restaurant nearby and you would definitely have a great view from the top of the canopy restaurant area .From afar, it looks like many of the plants are silver in colour. This silver garden is located right behind the visitor centre area.

This is really one of my favourite spots to visit .You will feel relaxed and energised at the same time. Do try to visit there the next time and experience walking through the walkway of the aroma garden. You can even sit down and enjoy the aroma with your friends while chatting with each other .

#cherryblossom25 If you are planning to drive to the hort park, you can park at the carpark which is located right next to the visitor centre as well as the drop off point .You can drive in from the Alexandra arch bridge entrance into the hort park. Be sure of the opening hours of the carpark as they may be closed during the night time. You can find out more information as well as enjoying the beautiful walk along the garden park .

They will love to get closer to nature while enjoying the playground there .There are several playground areas that they can play. It is definitely a good place to spend your weekends as a family there. Children also can get to know more about plants and vegetables here too.

Some of the vegetables have been covered as there might be flies munching on them. They grow so well under the strong sunlight here. The art work is specially drawn by the students there. The students took a walk along the beautiful garden trail, and drew those flowers that they love the most. It is very inspiring and motivating to see those beautiful art pieces, and the passion and love that the children had for the nature surrounding gardens . You can take some time there to read up each of the art work places there.

#favouriteitinerary If you are a person who likes nature discoveries like myself, you should allocate at least one day of your itinerary to visit the nature places in Singapore. The Hort park is one of the nature reserve parks where you can discover many beautiful flowers and take a walk at the park. You should allocate at least three to four hours here, as there are various zones in the Hort park waiting for you to discover there. Each of the sections are neatly organized and beautiful to your eyes. You can also hike along the gardens trail there too. There are drinks machines there for you to purchase drinks to hydrate yourself, while you take your walk into the garden trails.

You will find some beautiful statues there. Taking a walk at the English garden, you will feel like entering the park in the England place . There is a huge water pot with some plants, which is the centre of the formal English garden. The landscape and plant arrangements is very beautiful . By taking a stroll along the English garden, you will feel .erg relaxed and calmed. The greenery view as well as seeing the fishes in the pond, definitely makes it a good place to take a walk and sort out your thoughts .

#myhiddengems Went to the hort park on a hot afternoon for a nice walk around the park . It was quite quiet and hot and humid but I felt nice just doing a brisk walk and exercising a bit. The park is beautiful and the corridor garden is really therapeutic and amazing. Makes me feel better just looking at these flowers and greenery here. Recommend checking this place out if you haven’t been here. Can just chill and walk around and do some light exercises.

#myhiddengems Went to the Hort park floral walk and it was quite short and pretty here. The views were amazing and I think this is quite a popular spot for people to do their ROM or wedding here as there are restaurants nearby too. During the weekends it was quite quiet so I had a nice walk here relaxing and immersing in the nature. Overall nice ambience and vibes and would definitely take more walks here in future. The views made me feel so relaxed and happy as well.

#cherryblossom2024 We went to Alexandra Village to do the hike through the trail and chanced upon this healthcare facility. It still remains the olden structure from the past but has been retrofitted into a healthcare facility. It was also the Christmas season and was decorated with many festive cheers. This forested area is connected to the Alexandra Connector Park and you can hike all the way until Henderson waves via Hort Park. We enjoy hiking too and this is a new place we discover during one of our hikes. It has many greenery and the air also feel fresher. We will continue our hike to other places.

#singaporetrip Nice trails that connects to Kentridge, Gilman Barrack, all the way to Mt. Fabre. They have both elevated paths and the on the ground trails that are mostly canopied by trees so it gets humid but nicely shaded. Hortpark has a beautiful visitor center with 2 nice restaurants, a small plant shop, a wedding/ meeting venues, and fancy public bathrooms.
