A charming hydrangea path to a shrine✨A spot with endless hydrangeas
In Aichi, there is a hydrangea spot that is full of atmosphere from the approach to the temple grounds!
Today, we will introduce "Honkoji Temple" in Koda-cho, Aichi Prefecture.
It is a famous hydrangea spot, so much so that it is called "Mikawa's Hydrangea Temple". From the approach to the temple grounds, about 10,000 colorful hydrangeas of 15 varieties are filled. ✨
In particular, the stone pavement leading from the entrance to the temple gate, as shown in the top picture, is surrounded by red, blue, and purple hydrangea flowers on both sides, soothing the hearts of visitors. 🥰
After passing the gate and going to the right, there is an even smaller gate, and if you go further, there is another hydrangea path, but beyond that is the remains of a stone structure and temple called "Higashi-Gobyosho".
The scenery is quite unfamiliar, and it feels like you are in another world. 🧐
It is said that this scale is the largest in Japan.
It is a very popular spot with photographers, so we hope you enjoy taking photos while being considerate of your surroundings. 😄
That's all! How about it!
The best time to see the flowers is from mid-June onwards.
