Shenzhen Honghu Park: Encounter the winter romance of Maillard colors
In the bustling city of Shenzhen, there is an old treasure park with a history of more than 30 years - Honghu Park. It is like a green lung of the city, bringing people spiritual comfort. The place is beautiful all year round. In midsummer, "the lotus leaves touching the sky are infinitely green, and the lotus flowers reflecting the sun are exceptionally red." In winter, the bald cypress trees are even more unique.
The cypress trees in Honghu Park are concentrated in the southern half of the lake, stretching for about 2 kilometers along the lake. It is the largest cypress forest in South China. Compared with other parks, the bald cypress trees here grow extremely densely. Some stand tall on land, while others stand elegantly in the water. Each tree is like a work of art carefully carved by nature. The cleverly arranged plank roads, chairs, and scattered stones and steps in the forest set off against each other and create a picturesque artistic conception.
Currently, the cypress trees in the park are in the color gradient stage, with goose yellow, golden yellow, and brown and red intertwined together, like a slowly unfolding oil painting. As you stroll along, you will hear the rustle of fallen leaves under your feet, and the colorful branches and leaves above your head, which makes you intoxicated. If you want to witness the magnificent scenery of the bald cypress forest fully dyed, you may as well wait patiently.
When going to Honghu Park to view the deciduous cypress trees, it is recommended to avoid weekends as much as possible. Last Sunday afternoon, the lakeside was crowded with people fishing, and there were also many parents taking their children through the lake, making it a bit noisy. Choose a sunny afternoon, when the golden warm sun pours down, the atmosphere is directly filled, and you can immersively enjoy this unique winter romance.
