Hong Lim Park water fountain
There are several water fountains with long histories in Singapore and this water fountain at Hong Lim park is one of them. It has been preserved and you can spot it once you enter the speakers’ corner. Moreover, it is still working and you can spot it during certain times of the day. This space was used to be a recreational area and also a Chinese opera area during the earlier days. Now it is a lovely green space for the public to enjoy.

Speakers corner - The freedom of speech
New Bridge Road Singapore 059299
Located at purple north east line NE5 Station, the Hong Lim park is just beside the Clark quay MRT station. The park is also one bus stop away from Chinatown point mall.
The speakers corner is a place where freedom of speech is encouraged in Singapore. People can voice out their concern at that concern. At times, there would be events around the park. One such event would be the pink dot event happening every year during the Jun period. It is an event where the LGBT get together in harmony and celebrate this significant day.
At times, there might be show airing in the park where family members gather together to watch together.

Hong Lim Park
Address: New Bridge Rd, Singapore 059299
A beautiful park right across PARKROYAL Collection Pickering. If you cross over here, u can take the front view of PRPK hotel which resembles the letter E.
This park is also a nice place for picnics and there are many benches around the park. Plus also can see a 360 degree view of all the skyscrapers.
The Clark Quay MRT station exit is just right at the park, making it much easier to come here.
Sometimes this park also has big events such as Pink Dot and rallies (Speakers’ corner).
Back then, it also held open air cinema but that was before covid times.
