The first Banyan Tree in Northeast China - buffet - swimming - hot spring
Great environment, newly opened, everything is new 🆕
After checking in at 6 pm, we first tried the all-day buffet restaurant. The oysters were super big and fresh, and the crabs were small but all alive and delicious. There were salmon, ice shrimp, fresh-cut sirloin, roasted durian, and other cooked dishes that were average. There is a Chinese restaurant with private rooms in the lobby building. There is also a banquet hall (for weddings 💒 or conferences). The building is huge, and we got lost on our way to the swimming pool and ended up in the kitchen 😂 We just took a look at the swimming and fitness area and went back to our room.
The weather was cold, and the hotel had many small cars to take you to different buildings. Back in my room, I had a courtyard king room on the first floor with a door to the yard. The suite had a small living room, a guest bathroom, a private bathroom, and 2 bathrooms. There was a big bathtub, a large walk-in closet with an iron and a safe. I stayed in Building 20, and my friend stayed in Building 10, where the mahjong room and KTV were located. Reservations were required, and we didn't make any, so they were fully booked.
The next day, we had breakfast at the same restaurant and then went to the swimming pool. There was an adult pool (27-28°C), a children's pool (0.5m) at 33°C, and a hot spring pool (38-39°C). The environment was great 💖 Next to it was the gym (not many fitness equipment, forgot to take photos).
The hot spring and spa were in another building, with outdoor hot springs and iron pot stew. There was a private hot spring (I didn't go). The hot spring was not crowded, almost like a private one 😂 I didn't make a spa reservation, and after soaking in the hot spring until 3 pm, the front desk said there were only 2 therapists available after 5 pm, so I didn't wait. There were very few therapists, probably because it wasn't officially open yet. The spa was expensive... 90 minutes for 980, expensive, right?
When I was leaving, a family of three was coming to play and inquiring at the front desk. I even introduced the place to the lady (e-personality burst). The front desk said it would open on the 24th, and they could come then.
Overall, the environment was great, the place was big, and it was a great weekend getaway.
