The exquisite and romantic St. Anne's Church is located next to Warsaw's Old Town Square, just a stone's throw from the Castle Royal Palace. The romance of Warsaw: Heart of Chopina Please take my heart back to my motherland! After Frédéric Chopin died in Paris in 1849, his body was left in the Père Lachaise Cemetery in Paris, France. His heart was taken back to Poland by his relatives, sealed in a bottle filled with alcohol, and placed in a stone pillar of the Church of the Holy Cross here! The inscription on the stone pillar reads "GDZIE SKARB TWOJ, TAM I SERCETWOIE｜Where the love is, where the heart is" "Born in Warsaw, the soul belongs to Poland, the talent belongs to the world." In memory of this patriotic music master.
