Coordinates Hollywood Sign, Los Angeles 🇺🇸
A few years ago, I took a picture at the Hollywood Sign, but I went to the other side at Griffith Observatory. When I took the picture, I felt that the sign was very far away. But at that time, I thought I was very impressed. But when I saw other people's pictures of the Hollywood Sign, they were very close. When I saw it, I felt that this angle was the one that I had to come here to really arrive. That's why I had to come back to take another picture this time. So that I wouldn't be confused with the photo angle at the Hollywood Sign... And then I found the coordinates, which many people may already know. So in this post, I would like to pin this coordinate for you.
- First of all, for those who drive by themselves, pin the coordinates in Google Maps as Lake Hollywood Park. The pin will take us to park at the entrance of the park. The car will be parked on both sides of the road. Find the right time and park instead of the car that just left or in an empty space. There is no parking fee booth in this area, which means that you can park for free.
- The first point is when you park your car, you will see the Lake Hollywood Park sign. The lawn is the first photo spot where people of all ages can easily take pictures. The sign is quite high but beautiful.
- Point 2 After taking pictures at the first point, walk out of the garden and walk along the sidewalk up the hill. You will find a curve in the road (I personally like this point because it is quite close, not too close or too far).
- Point 3 This area is the highest point for taking pictures with the sign. You will get a good angle close to the sign. Those who like to take clear pictures with the sign, this area is very suitable. For this point, continue walking up from Point 2. You have to walk along the side of the road up. The difficulty is that there is not much shoulder because the sidewalk is blocked by cloth to prevent the sign from being seen for fear that tourists will go out to take pictures and block the traffic.
Continuing to walk up, you will start to enter a house on the hill. Keep walking straight. There will be more people walking. There is no parking in this area. Parking is prohibited in all cases. Therefore, you have to park your car at the park below. You will start to see small signs on houses telling you to walk up the path. Keep walking up and you will see the Hollywood sign grow bigger because you are close to the top. Finally, you will see a large green gate. That means you have arrived. Walk through the large gate and you will reach an outdoor area. There are tourists and locals who come to jog, take pictures, and have picnics, which is a very beautiful view. Actually, from this point, there is a path to walk up to the Hollywood sign. But I'll stop here and think that I have truly arrived in Los Angeles as I wished.... I will explain according to the pictures so that you can see the picture in the post..

Hiking to the Hollywood Sign: A Dream Come True in the City of Dreams! 🏞️🌟
In this photo, my cowboy boots and I are in a state of absolute happiness: how great it is when the tiredness is pleasant, when it’s not hard to work on a weekend, and when, above all, your job is to hike the trail to the Hollywood sign and take this photo! One more travel goal achieved! 🇺🇸✔️

Walking to Hollywood sign : )
After having lunch and the Beachwood Cafe (highly recommended!!!) we went for a great walk up to the Hollywood sign.
It was a warm day however was well worth the truck up. You can’t get up in front of the sign but you can get up right behind the sign. There are ample opportunities for you to take photos on the way up where the sign is very clear. If you could do it I would say go all the way to the top, the view is absolutely rewarding and it is 360°
We passed several people however the walk up is not crowded. Make sure you bring lots of water on a hot day!

LA is definitely the Hollywood sign~

This is the Hollywood Sign photo zone just a little bit up from Lake Hollywood Park! Leave your car behind and walk up, then stand at a place where you can see the Hollywood Sign well and take a picture :) You can find your own photo zone✌🏻
It's also pretty to take a picture of Lake Hollywood Park and the sign together!

Breathtaking views under the Hollywood sign
Getting There - Slightly tricky to get there. On the map app search for the Hollywood sign. You will get there by driving through the winding road of Hollywood hills. There is an opening door at the end of the road. You may park the car on the street.
Attractions - Hollywood hills is a well-known location for historical houses including Owens house which has designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Lots of beautiful houses along the way to the entrance.
Hotels - There are a couple of locally owned hotels. You can find them on Trip.com by searching Hollywood sign or Hollywood bowl.
Food & Restaurants - Small cafe and marked in the foothills.

Epic Hollywood Sign Hike + others of our trip
Getting There - start at:
Griffith Park
Innsdale Dr
Los Angeles, CA 90068
you can park on the street. it’s a 4 mile total hike (2 in, 2 out) not a lot of shade do bring a hat, water & sunblock. but it’s totally worth it!
Attractions - So much to do! Sunset strip has a lot, very close to the Hollywood Walk of Fame - which is touristy but a must in my opinion. also Universal Studios Hollywood!
Hotels - We stayed at Pendry West Hollywood and it was FABULOUS. we loved the pool!
Food & Restaurants - Catch was amazing sushi/sea food.
Shopping - too much shopping. lots on Sunset and Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills is only 15 min away.

Perfect Spot For The Hollywood Sign
#usatravel #california
When we traveled to Los Angeles, California, a must-visit spot on our list was the Hollywood Sign, one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
Located on the southern slope of Mount Lee in the Santa Monica Mountains, this iconic symbol of the entertainment industry represents the glitz and glamour of Hollywood and has a rich history that reflects the evolution of Los Angeles itself.
The Hollywood Sign is synonymous with the global entertainment industry. It signifies the hopes and dreams of countless individuals who come to Hollywood seeking fame and fortune. Each year, millions of tourists flock to Los Angeles to catch a glimpse of the Hollywood Sign. It is a must-see destination for visitors looking to experience a piece of cinematic history, and we were among those.
We got lost on the roads of the hill, trying to find a spot for a nice photograph that would prove we had visited the Hollywood Sign. After an hour, we found it! A nice hill with an incredible view of the Hollywood Sign as a background, within walking distance from Lake Hollywood Park.
We highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling to this landmark. Snap a shot here, and you will not be disappointed.

Los Angeles | LA Five-Day Four-Night Travel Guide
LA downtown is full of homeless people, making it the most dangerous place I've been to so far, but it's very close to Little Tokyo, which makes dining very convenient. If you're staying in downtown, be mentally prepared.😢
1️⃣day1 Arrival Day
📍Luv2eat Thai Bistro (jade noodle | tom yum soup | raw crab salad) p2
Although it's a Michelin-rated place, it wasn't as delicious as I imagined. The prices are reasonable. We went at noon and it wasn't very crowded. No reservations.
🚶🏻♀️12min
📍TCL Chinese Theater | Walk of Fame | Hollywood p3
The Walk of Fame area is also quite chaotic and heavily commercialized. The attractions are rather boring.
🚗20min
📍Griffith Observatory p4-7
Definitely worth a visit. You can see the Hollywood sign. I recommend coming on a clear day to watch the sunset. You can arrive 2 hours before sunset to visit the observatory.
2️⃣day2
📍République (Basque | mushroom toast | potato pancake | matcha raspberry) p8-9
A very popular brunch spot. We went at 11:30 and waited for about half an hour. It's a renovation of Charlie Chaplin's office. The ambiance is great. The savory dishes are tastier, and the Basque cake is exceptional.
🚶🏻♀️13min
📍The Grove Shopping p10-11
The Christmas decorations are beautiful. There's a free trolley and artificial snowfall in the evening, great for photos.
🍽️% ARABICA (Spanish latte) p12 | Pampas Grill Churrascaria Brazilian BBQ p13
The Brazilian BBQ has a long queue. It's sold by weight and is located next to The Grove in the market. You can take the free trolley back and forth.
3️⃣ day3
📍Little Tokyo
📍The board p14
The free infinity mirror room needs to be booked in advance. There are quite a few works by Yayoi Kusama.
📍Disney Concert Hall p15
Free and right next to the art museum. There's a small garden on the top floor.
🚶🏻♀️6min
📍Angels Flight Railway p16
One dollar per ride. You can take it from the top down to the market.
📍Grand Central Market
🍽️Eggslut | Villa Morelian
Eggslut was closed when we got there. Remember to check the times.
📍Torigoya (10 skewers course | Octopus in wasabi) p17-18
It opens at 6 pm and you might be able to walk in before 7 pm. It's still best to call ahead for reservations. It's also in Little Tokyo.

Specifically, it refers to the area between La Brea Avenue and Gower Street, which is about 1 mile long.

If you are not star-chasing/have no special feelings for Hollywood, it is recommended to ignore this attraction because:
‣ The Avenue of Stars has long since declined and can only be described as dirty, messy and smelly😂

‣ See downtown Los Angeles and the Hollywood sign in the distance
‣ To watch the sunset🌇 and night view🌃, see here during sunset time (you have to arrive early, the traffic jam is serious)

Maintain a very good original state
Great hiking, you can choose different paths. We chose the more challenging dirt road, but it was very worthwhile. Sometimes very slippery and steep, so please wear appropriate shoes. The magnificent views of Los Angeles, the Hollywood sign and the mountains.

Hollywood Sign
To most people it is just a sign, but it is a very attractive place, even parking space it is really difficult to find. The tropical fruit stall there sell a fresh, cold food, and drink which is refreshing as well. When you go there you should try the tropical fruit from the stall at the moment it cost around USD10.

I wish I can travel to Tokyo, japan to explore the world.

The nearby place for hiking is worth recommending
I haven't been hiking for a long time, and I checked in Runyon Canyon Park with my sister on the weekend. The view from the top of the mountain is stunning, not only can you see the skyscrapers in downtown Los Angeles, but also the Hollywood sign. Along the way, we met a lot of dogs, and there were dogs in class.
When climbing halfway up the mountain, you will pass a very interesting lock wall. There are many locks hanging on the wire mesh, representing various emotions, including love, family affection, and the memory of the departed dogs. No matter how much time has passed, whether the person who hangs the lock remembers or not, I believe that the moment the lock is hung, the feelings are sincere.
This hiking route is quite easy to complete, and the scenery is also very beautiful. It is said that there are often celebrities coming here to hike.
Pay attention to parking when you come here to hike, there are signs on many streets at the foot of the mountain indicating that parking is not allowed.

Hollywood Sign
2023 marked the 100th anniversary of the famous HOLLYWOOD sign, so we were lucky enough to visit California for the first time this year. We went to Griffith Observatory and it was clearly visible from there. There are many visitors and parking is usually tight here. Might need to walk a bit uphill to reach the ideal location to view the sign. Overall it was a great experience #hollywoodsign #greatexperience #California
