A hotel brand that is faithful to the basics, neither too little nor too much. However, this Pyeongchang Holiday Inn is even more special. It is the only 5-star Holiday Inn in the country. (Songdo and Gwangju are 4-star) ⠀ 👉 A simple rest area to enjoy without pressure If you have high expectations because it is 5-star, you may be a little disappointed. It does not feel fancy. The lounge feels like a simple rest area where you can stop by for a while. Usually, when you visit a 4-star hotel lounge, it often plays a secondary role rather than putting effort into the operation of the business. It feels exactly like that here. There is no separate staff member on duty, so if you go to the front desk and say you want to use it, the staff member will come. Although Holiday Inn Suites have more rooms, because cooking is allowed and most rooms are suites (the room and living room are separate), the suites are closed faster. Since the room and living room are shared, they are quite spacious. The space between the front of the bed and the TV, or the distance between the sofa/table and the bed is wide enough, so it was easy to move around. The only downside is that the TV is a little small. The space for children is separate. There is a bathtub, but the shower room and toilet are basically separate, which is nice. The dressing room and powder room are prepared in a large space facing the main bathroom door. An iron, ironing board, and clothes drying rack are also prepared in a cup. Good location within the ski area, with definitely stay there again

This trip was planned for 12/15-12/18. It was skiing season in Korea, so we stayed at this hotel. They have their own ski resort, which is also the venue for the Olympic Games. We encountered heavy snow this time. If you are interested in skiing or chasing snow, you can refer to this hotel.

Lovely European styled resorts with living room and kitchen. Super near to the skii slopes, plenty of eateries and convenient stores on site. Rental of skii equipment and skii lift etc could be alittle overwhelming for a foreigner as some institutions were not translated to English. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time skiing and snow sledding. Only regret was 2 days 2 nights were too short! Would return again!
