Visit Phuket, stay at Holiday Inn Express Phuket
Just had a chance to review ##Phuket trip, going back to the period when Covid 😷 came back to spread, round 2. Because it was a pity, I had already booked more than 10 people. This time, I booked during the summer after Songkran, so I decided to go for it!!!
✈️Traveling by Air Asia, booking accommodation and plane tickets, Chiang Mai-Phuket for 4,xxx baht, which was booked several months in advance before Covid came back again. To be sure, everyone had an ATK test before going.
Arrived at the hotel, traveled from Phuket Airport, rented a van to the airport for 1,200, 100 baht per person, dropped off in front of the hotel.
The guest reception area is beautifully decorated. There are many beautiful photo spots. The swimming pool is also beautiful and wide. Walk down not far from the room. The kids really like it.
Breakfast will be a box set because it is during Covid. There will be no buffet. If I remember, there will be a fried rice set and a Swiss set, which is convenient.
The hotel is located not far from Patong Beach. Walk only 2 minutes, cross the street and you will arrive. As for the restaurants in that area, during Covid, many shops were closed and there were still few foreign tourists.
We chose a 1,200 baht diving trip. At first, we were going to Phi Phi Island, but Covid came back and it was canceled. It was only 600 baht per person. We got to go to Racha Island and Koh Hey for a full day, including a buffet lunch. We were picked up from the hotel.
For tourist attractions, we chose to watch the sunset at Promthep Cape, buy fresh seafood at Rawai Beach, worship at Wat Chalong, and swim at Karon Beach. We traveled by renting a van from Bang Hem. Luckily, we met Bang, the very nice van driver, who let us pick up and go sightseeing nearby. He charged us only 200 baht per trip. ☺️ Renting for the whole day wasn't expensive either.
Finally, we returned to Chiang Mai. Everyone was safe from Covid.
