Accommodation Experience at Holiday Inn Edinburgh
During our trip to Edinburgh, we chose to stay at the Holiday Inn Edinburgh (132 Corstorphine Road, Edinburgh EH12 6UA, United Kingdom), and the experience was highly satisfying. From its location, rooms, facilities, to the restaurant, everything brought pleasant surprises.
The hotel is located in the Corstorphine area, directly opposite Edinburgh Zoo, and is about a 15-minute drive from the city center. It’s easily accessible by bus, making travel convenient. One of its biggest advantages is the free parking, which is a huge plus for self-driving travelers. Although the hotel is not newly built, the room we stayed in had been recently renovated with a modern and minimalist design. The room was spacious, well-lit, and very comfortable.
The most surprising aspect was their restaurant. It has a bright and open environment with large floor-to-ceiling windows. Sitting by the window, you can enjoy views of lush greenery and distant mountains, especially during sunset when the lighting is soft and the atmosphere is exceptional. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, including roast chicken, fish and chips, steak, pasta, vegetarian options, and kids’ meals, all worth trying.
The overall service was very polite, with quick check-in and front desk staff eager to provide travel information. We had a delightful stay, and if we visit Edinburgh again, we will definitely consider staying here again.
