Phoenix, USA, has unique and charming scenery.
Desert landscape: Drought-tolerant plants, such as cacti of various shapes, are occasionally seen in the desert and are a unique sight here. The Desert Botanical Garden is home to many rare desert plants and is a great place for visitors to learn about desert ecology.
Mountain scenery: The famous Camelback Mountain is shaped like a kneeling camel and is one of the landmarks of Phoenix. Climb to the top of the mountain and you can enjoy a panoramic view of Phoenix, with the city's skyscrapers contrasting with the surrounding desert and mountains, creating a magnificent picture.
City skyline: As the fifth largest city in the United States, Phoenix has a modern urban landscape. The skyscrapers in the city center are lined up and shining with metallic luster. At night, the neon lights flicker, and the bustling city scene is even more visible.
Park scenery: Papago Park has a unique red sandstone landscape, and the "Hole-in-the-Rock" is even more unique. Visitors can climb to the top of the mountain and overlook the beautiful scenery of the park and the city.

Desert Elegance: A Cactus-Inspired Signature Self-Portrait 📸🌵
In the cactus's form, I find a kindred spirit, both defiant and delicate. Reflecting on my collection of half-face self-portraits—now over 50 strong—I realize each image is a narrative thread woven into my visual story. Here, beneath the desert sun and amidst prickly companionship, I offer a playful rendition of this signature series. A glimpse into the face behind the lens, bridging the gap between adventure and familiarity. 📸🌵

Hole in the Rock is one of my favorite places to visit while in Phoenix as it’s one of the easiest hikes you’ll ever take the kids on. Before you know it, you’ll be from the parking lot up on the mountain and into the hole in the rock. The mountain is made up of massive sandstone.
This is an outdoor activity, so more suited for early morning in the summer, or the winter months.
The location is just north of the Phoenix Zoo inside Papago Park in Phoenix. Hole in the Rock in Phoenix is huge and is a natural geological formation.
The path up the mountain is smooth and well maintained. The path wraps around behind the mountain to the entrance to the cave. There are beautiful views of the Phoenix skyline from inside the cave.
