Our trip was a shared taxi from Chiang Mai city. The price depends on the number of people. Round trip to Doi Pui and Doi Suthep is 300 baht/6 people. But when we went, we met 2 other people waiting for us. So we talked about going with only 3 people because we wanted to go in the morning when the weather was still cold. We didn't want to wait. So we paid 500 baht per person. The driver took us to the entrance of the village. There was a coffee shop in front. We had 1.30 am to visit here. Actually, this time is not enough time to explore here. But we had to accept that if we went by ourselves, we would lose our freedom. The village has many souvenirs, clothes, bags, scarves, and other things for sale. Wine starts at 200 baht per bottle. You can try it first. I must say that the price of many things is much cheaper than in the city. Scarves are 50 baht. There are Hmong costumes for rent for 50 baht. There is a photo service. I can't remember how much each picture costs, but it's a bit expensive. Take your own photos if possible. There is a strawberry farm and a cafe. If you have time, come sit and sip coffee. The atmosphere is nice. As for the strawberries, it's a pity that when I went, there were no strawberries to pick. Actually, there is a route to the waterfall, but I didn't have time to go. Fine views, food, drink and a huge array of gift shops mainly selling traditional costumes and accessories. Walk up the many steps through the terraced shopping area to find the "museum". On the way up you can try your hand at firing a home made cross bow into hanging fruit - 3 arrows for 10 baht. You can even buy a crossbow! Great fun and a must do for 10 baht (less than £0.25). The museum isn't up to much, but entry of 20 baht allows access to the beautiful gardens, magnificent views and a nice coffee shop and the 20 baht is a harmless amount to pay. Many locals are dressed in traditional costume.

#songkran2024This is a must visit for me! Flowers are so pretty, and the people are nice too. Not much tourist when I visited since it's a weekday but I like that there are still a lot of shops open. If you'll go the the garden and waterfalls, you have to pay 20 BAHT. The products are also good quality and affordable too which was surprising. Food options are also great. A bit more expensive ranging from 80-200 BAHT but tastes better than the ones in the city. ☺️ Best to come around lunch time so you can eat good food and stroll around. There's also huts where you can sit. Despite being sunny, the overall feel is still good.

Had an amazing time at Wat That Doi Pui temple in Chiang Mai on Monday, 25th December .The weather was perfect for hiking as well. The views from the temple extremely beautiful. Food and souvenirs shops all sround the road. Once finished at the Wat That temple I booked this trip to the Hmong Doi Pui Village. Paid 120 bath return trip with the local vans located on the side of the road. We got there in about 15 minutes and the driver waited for us for abiut 1,5 hours. I went to Doi Suthep and Doi Pui in the morning, but I'll share the pictures I took of Doi Pui because it was the first place I went up. I had a lot of energy to go up and down the hills and valleys, so I took a lot of pictures. I chartered a red truck with my friends from Kuba for 150 baht each to get to Doi Pui. The red truck driver stopped at every viewpoint and took beautiful pictures. The entrance fee to Doi Pui was 10 baht each. It was a very worthwhile trip. The mountain was very cool even though I went in the morning when the sun was still shining. However, if you go during this time, I highly recommend it. It's in the winter season.
