In 1969, King Rama IX visited “Hmong Doi Pui Village”. At that time, the villagers still grew opium and native peaches, but were poor. Most of the residents work as traders and farmers. Within the village, there are many interesting tourist attractions and there are also agricultural products or fruits that the villagers bring to sell themselves. In addition, within the area of the Hmong Doi Pui village, there are also cherry blossom trees or Thai sakura trees planted. If anyone comes during the winter, around November and December, they will see the beautiful pink flowers of the cherry blossom trees lining the village.
