[London Suburbs 🇬🇧] Flower Fields 💜🌻

📍Hitchin Lavender Farm
A place that fulfills two of your wishes!
Here, you not only get to see sunflowers but also lavender! Hitchin, located below Mayfield, is a bit farther away, but Mayfield only has lavender.
Firstly, as soon as you arrive, you'll witness vast fields of purple flowers, making you feel like you're in Provence! As you continue exploring, you'll come across expansive fields of yellow flowers, filled with beautiful sunflowers.
When I visited, I was lucky to have sunny weather, which made everything even more stunning! However, keep in mind that it can get extremely hot and sunny, so don't forget to wear sunscreen!
You can even pick your own lavender and sunflowers here. As you enter, the staff provides scissors and bags for everyone to choose their favorite lavender to take home. I saw many people bundling up large bundles to bring back home, and the aroma of lavender filled their houses. It was quite delightful! Personally, I picked a small amount to use as a prop for photography, and it added a special touch to my pictures.
Inside the farm, there's a cafe that offers a range of lavender-infused food. Grab a cup of purple ice cream, pose in front of the lavender fields, and you'll have the perfect Instagram shot!
TIPS: The lavender looks most beautiful from mid-July to mid-August! And early August is the best time to see the sunflowers in full bloom! I highly recommend this place if you're in London!
