[Aomori Prefecture/Hirota Shrine] I'm glad I went in 2023! Shrines in Aomori Prefecture ②
Hirota Shrine in Aomori City.
It was founded in Sotogahama Kaimori Village by Fujiwara no Sanekata, who was appointed Mutsu no Kami during the reign of Emperor Ichijo (996).
In 1784, the Tokugawa Shogun, upon learning of the devastation caused by the plague, ordered that a box bidder, two bows and two arrows in a white wooden shrine be enshrined and prayed for, which led to the plague being eradicated.
As a result, it is widely known as a guardian deity that wards off disease and misfortune.
My personal recommendation is Hachidairyuujingu Shrine.
There is dragon water next to the torii gate ⛩, and the water is black 😳
You can also get a water fortune!
A nebuta float is dedicated to the main shrine, and it can be seen from outside because it is lit!
It's one of the places that makes you want to go again.
