Hirosaki is one of the three most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan.

🌸Hirosaki is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Aomori and the entire Tohoku region, and is also one of the three most famous cherry blossom viewing spots in Japan. We went to Hirosaki twice in total. The first time, the cherry blossoms were 30-50% open. When we went again 4 days later, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom! It can be seen that the flowering period of cherry blossoms in Northeast China is really very short. Once again, I would like to remind friends who want to chase cherry blossoms to choose the right time.
🌸Hirosaki Park is a castle ruins park centered on Hirosaki Castle. In the Edo period, it was the residence of the successive lords of the Tsugaru domain, and the castle tower and ancient moat of Hirosaki Castle are still preserved. As soon as you enter the park, the first thing you can see is the spectacular cherry blossoms on both sides of the outer moat of Hirosaki Park. Because they face the side with more sunlight, they bloom earlier than the cherry blossoms in other parts of the park.
🌸The number of cherry blossoms in Hirosaki Park is amazing. There are more than 5,000 cherry blossoms in the inner and outer areas. The largest number and the earliest blooming are Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms. Follow the moat and walk across the long vermilion bridge to reach the Ote Gate of Hirosaki Castle. The scenery of the red bridge, cherry blossoms and moat is perfect for taking portraits.
