Hinoki Land Chiang Mai
Hinoki Land, the first and only wooden kingdom in Thailand, is located in Chai Prakan District. This is a tourist attraction in Chiang Mai Province. It opened on October 4, 2018, covering an area of over 83 rai, as a replica of an authentic Japanese town. It is outstanding for its decorations such as giant red lanterns like Asakusa Temple in Tokyo, red torii gates like those at Fushimi Inari Temple in Kyoto, and various other buildings. The highlight of Hinoki Land is the 4-story Hinoki Castle, which stands out with a mountain view as a backdrop. On all sides, there is a Japanese-style garden with a field of marigolds in the foreground, making it a great place to take pictures. There is a large torii gate standing out at the entrance. There is a souvenir shop in a large Japanese-style building that sells a variety of products. Both Daifuku sweets, Japanese liquor, various products of Hinokin that are famous, including soap, skin cream, mattresses and pillows made from Hinoki wood
