Foodies are going to love this. Munchies galore on the main level at the Hilton Orrington. So you don’t have to go very far for a little snack. And the options are great. Not do much if you if you are a vegetarian, but a little.

Beautiful view facing east. Very cold out but very warm inside the hotel. Beautiful place. Beautiful space. So far so good for 2023!

The beaches in Evanston are so serenely beautiful. On Northwestern’s campus the huge rocks that are situated along a long stretch of Lake Michigan are traditionally painted upon by the students. Evanston has almost consistently won “Tree City” Awards. Their is a beautiful pond where you can often find families of ducks paddling around. The beaches, Lake Michigan, Target,CVS, Churches, Northwestern University, the Evanston Public Library, Coffee Shops, and more, are all within a walkable distance (for most), from the Historic and centrally located Orrington Hilton Hotel. This is a beautifully maintained hotel, which originated in 1923. It should be registered, and protected as an Historic Landmark. It is located right across the street from the (Main) Evanston Public Library, and across from NU Graduate Housing. This Hotel has the most Grand Ballroom that I have ever seen. The main floor is relaxed and very comfortable. This hotel is perfect for business and/or family getaways. The Hilton Orrington have some “Stars” in their Front Desk staff. Sofia is a ray of SUNSHINE, every time you speak with her! Her customer service skills, etiquette, and business acumen are well beyond outstanding! The Orrington Hilton hotel is lucky to have her. She radiates good vibes day and night. Sofia’s skill set would be very hard to replicate. She’s such an amazing person! Phileisa is an amazingly knowledgeable Front Desk Manager. She has an excellent memory of the hotel guests’ room preferences and requests. Phileisa is extremely professional in her demeanor and in her business attire. Also works diligently to make sure that all hotel guests are checked in expeditiously, and that they are happy for the duration of their stay. Vanessa is excellent at anticipating the guests needs, before they even ask. That’s a skill set within her innately that cannot be taught to most. She’s a gem, and hopefully she will be pegged for a supervisory position within the Hilton Orrington team. Under the Helm of Eric, everything seems to be running smoothly.
