The front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient, and I completed check-in in just a few steps. The room was well-equipped, the bed was just the right firmness, and the view from the window was wide and open, making me feel comfortable and relaxed. The room was well-designed, with convenient and user-friendly sockets and lighting controls, making it perfect for business trips or family vacations. The hotel breakfast was varied, with a good mix of Chinese and Western dishes. That morning, I tried the Sichuan-style noodles and fried dumplings, with freshly squeezed orange juice, which gave me plenty of energy to start my day. The dining area was clean, and the waiters were always replenishing the food, which made me feel very cared for. In the evening, I enjoyed a Christmas buffet at the hotel, with a wide variety of dishes that left me very satisfied. In my spare time, I took a walk around the hotel's fitness center, which was well-equipped and modern. The pool was also a highlight, with a comfortable water temperature and a clean environment, making it a great place to relax. Whether it was the facilities or the service, the hotel reflected the professionalism and quality of the Hilton brand. After a day of sightseeing or work, the atmosphere here may not be as lively as in the city center, but for travelers who want to balance quality and convenience, Hilton Chengdu Longquanyi is undoubtedly an excellent choice.

🏨 The Chengdu Baiyue Hilton Curio Collection Hotel, which opened in 2018, is the first Curio brand store in Chengdu. The hotel has a total of 394 rooms, including 48 apartment rooms from 6F-9F and 346 hotel rooms from 10F-25F. Since last year, the hotel has started to renovate and upgrade the public area of the lobby on the first floor, mainly involving areas such as the lobby bar, front desk, and restaurant. If you haven't had a previous stay experience, it's quite difficult to perceive the extent of the renovation changes. 🗺️ Compared to the Binjiang Curio, although Baiyue Curio has an executive lounge and swimming pool, its location is not as convenient as the latter. Therefore, I chose to drive there this time. The hotel's ground parking lot is located in the outdoor garden area, which is more convenient for guests staying on the apartment floors. The underground parking lot is shared with the Baiyue City residential complex developed by the owner, which is quite crowded. 🛏️ Baiyue Curio upgrades the regular room type for Diamond members to the basic room type of the apartment floor—the Deluxe Apartment Room, with an approximate area of 58 square meters. The apartment is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, etc., but no matching kitchenware or tableware was seen; the Mini bar offers 4 bottles of mineral water and 4 bags of TG tea bags. The living area and the reception area are semi-divided by a TV wall, and the overall decoration is wrapped in solid wood panels, creating a warm family atmosphere; the bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and a washing machine, convenient for long-stay guests to change and wash clothes. 🛋️ The executive lounge is located on the 24F, and hotel guests can swipe their card to enter the lounge during business hours to enjoy coffee/soft drinks/cookies/fruits, 🈚️ afternoon tea. The variety of products during happy hour is quite rich, including 3 Sichuan-style cold dishes, 3 Western-style cold plates, 5 desserts, 5 hot dishes, and fruit salads, etc. However, the taste of the meals is quite bland, which makes me wonder if I have contracted Corona again, causing a problem with my sense of taste. 🍽️ Breakfast is served in the all-day restaurant on 1F, where the restaurant's sign and the original children's dining area have been renovated and redecorated, looking more simple and modern; the bakery area offers a rich variety of bread flavors, and if you like, you can also ask the waiter for a takeaway box to enjoy back home. 💁🏻‍♂️ The Curio in Longquan has always been trying to upgrade to a full-fledged Hilton, and the renovation and upgrade of the public area lobby on the first floor should be an initiative to meet the brand upgrade. I wonder if this time it will pass the group's assessment and evaluation and successfully upgrade to break the awkward situation where Chengdu only has the Hilton in the Universal Center. However, the geographical location of this Curio is really inconvenient, and travel can only rely on ride-hailing services, which is not very friendly to tourists from other places and is more suitable for local residents as a weekend stay option.

The location is also very good. Let's talk about the downsides first: 1. A common issue with big brand hotels is aging. The exterior windows are dirty, and the interior carpets and wallpapers are peeling, which affects the staying experience. 2. The hotel has a high number of floors and a high occupancy rate, so sometimes you can wait a few minutes for the elevator. Now for the advantages: 1. Just when I thought this hotel had no advantages, the breakfast really amazed me. Not only is there a wide variety, but there are also freshly made pork offal congee and various noodles, and you can take as much pork offal as you want. Moreover, the breakfast time on weekends is until 11 am, which is a blessing for those who like to sleep in. When it's not busy, the hotel will also specially deliver a basket of dim sum as a member benefit, and I guess if you ask for it, they would give it to you. 2. Compared to the breakfast in the lobby, the breakfast in the lounge is relatively simple. 🌟 The hotel lobby looks very grand, and the greenery is very beautiful. It makes the air feel very fresh and has its own unique features. The suite is 72 square meters, looks spacious and clean. I like the decoration style, and from the window, you can see the greenery, which shows that the hotel has really put a lot of effort into this aspect. I've stayed at Hiltons both domestically and abroad many times, and this hotel is really special, so beautiful, it has really touched my heart. There is a separate cloakroom. The room has two bathrooms, one large and one small. There is also an oversized floor mirror at the entrance of the room, which is very detailed. The number of hotel staff is not large, which needs improvement. The lobby elevators and guest room elevators are separate, which makes it a bit complicated to navigate. The executive lounge is not yet open. But overall, considering the price-performance ratio, I am already very satisfied and would still highly recommend everyone to give it a try.
